  1. Looks great!!
  2. That's a big Twinkie! Outstanding weathering, it looks so realistic.
  3. You could do a whole "chibi" battlefield display. That would be neat. It looks great.
  4. Lookes like he did a really nice job mastering this. Can't wait to see how it turns out.
  5. Gonna have to get the 59 Imperial.
  6. Looks like they've got some great stuff coming.
  7. Beautiful job! The metal flake is perfect.
  8. I love them both! I'd have to sit on top and steer through the windows, though.
  9. I usually use BMF for trim and larger emblems. For the scripts/letters on the body, I'll put BMF on the bare plastic, then primer and paint over them and use polish to bring the foil back out. It works really well.
  10. Great job splicing! I'm gonna have to try that.
  11. I use Duplicolor primers on plastic all the time and haven't had any issues.
  12. Someone's never heard of U-Haul. You can rent a truck for $19.95 around town. Stupid to do that to a Challenger.
  13. Very sharp!
  14. Excellent job! Nice to see one of these built up stock.
  15. Got in a Lotus Esprit Sport 300. Only thing I really have to replace is the seats.
  16. There was a set on Ebay just a couple of days ago that had: sprue cutter, needle files, sanding sticks, a Micron pen and 2 different pairs of tweezers for $12. Most of the tools you'll just pick up piecemeal.
  17. If it helps any: Most older cars have a distributor cap made of bakelite/plastic and they're usually brown or black. Some aftermarket ones might be different colors, but it's up to you. Heads are usually engine color, but can be bare aluminum or steel. I've done a couple of engines where the engine block was aluminum and the head/valve cover was black. Transmissions vary as well. Had a 1:1 1972 Buick where the engine/transmission were red, but we ended up having to replace the tranny with a junker that was blue. I normally paint mine steel or aluminum. This is all subjective depending on your own style. Car interiors are a whole different ballgame. Your best bet there is to look online for reference pics and find a color combo you can live with. That same Buick was orange with a white vinyl top, seats and upper door panels, black carpets, lower door panels and dash with wood trim. Sounds weird, but it was a beautiful car back in its day.
  18. I've got one of these I still need to set up. One thing I plan to use it for is my 1969 Chevelle. The tail lights are awful on the kit, so I plan to use the cutter to make the frames for new ones. I wonder about making the correct side trim for Christine?
  19. I'll build anything at least once. Might make some adjustments along the way.
  20. Very lovely job!
  21. The Pagani is stunning!
