  1. Got a Monogram Pontiac Fiero GT. It's complete except for the clear pieces, and I can probably make those. Nice Kit!
  2. I'll do what I can. I'm on unemployment, but I can donate next check.
  3. Very nice! I'm going to have to pick one of these up. I hope I can do it justice.
  4. I've become a big fan of doing the foil under the primer/paint. You can get very nice, bright and shiny emblems using this technique. a pencil eraser will work well to clean off the foil and is a little less likely to sand through the foil.
  5. That's a pretty good conversion. The only recommendation I would make would have been to take the trailing edges of where the roof blends into the rear quarters down a bit. But beyond that, good job!
  6. Looks great! Excellent conversion work.
  7. Beautiful!
  8. I had over 200 Hot Wheels and Matchboxes at one point and always loved cars. I think I was about 6-7 when I got my first kit, either the Snap-Tite '55 Chevy or the Snap-Together Police Van. I don't have the HW or Matchboxes anymore, but I kept the love of models.
  9. Wow! Nice!
  10. Not terrible, and they look a lot better than the original wheels for some kits. I picked up a set to throw onto a Jaguar E-Type.
  11. Check these out. They aren't horribly expensive and look REALLY nice. http://www.3dmodelparts.com/1-24-1-25-wire-wheels-15-inch-60-spoke/
  12. These are gorgeous. Excellent work.
  13. I've got one of the Lancia Stratos kits (H-7303) pretty well finished except for decals. It was a little rough, but overall came out pretty decent. I've built much worse.
  14. Have to say I'll be getting the Bronco, The new Vette and the Cadillac Lowrider.
  15. Gorgeous! I love the Jags like this.
  16. This is beautiful. Outstanding craftsmanship. Question: Do the chains for the rear end actually work?
  17. Let me see... In descending order on each category: Burgers: Culver's, Five Guys, BK, Wendy's. Chicken: Popeye's, KFC, McDonald's for their nuggets once in a while. Delivery Pizza: Flyer's (local chain, awesome when you can afford it), Papa John's/Pizza Hut/Domino's are kinda interchangeable. Occasionally Little Caesar's when I'm on the cheap Mexican: Taco Bell is really the only option for drive-thru, but Los Guachos when I'm really in the mood for traditional. Donuts: Dunkin, Krispie Kreme, Tim Horton's. But if I want a REAL donut, Honey Dip! Surprisingly, I like Fazoli's a lot for a quick meal. Decent Italian for the price. Yeah, I'm fat.
  18. IT Support Technician normally, but currently unemployed (again).
  19. Harry, I'm really sorry to hear this. All my thoughts and prayers are with you.
  20. There's one very close to my apartment. It's a nice shop. They have a good selection, prices are about the same as the other local shops.
  21. I used to have a Millennium Falcon on my desk at Big Lots. I left it behind when I was fired. Didn't have anywhere to put it at home.
  22. I'd like to see a stock Monte Carlo, Non-SS version.
  23. Went to Discount Drug Mart today. I picked up a 1992 Firebird Formula and a Revell Dodge Ram VTS Pickup kit. $9.99 each. I love that place. Almost got the 1965 Chevelle Z-16 for $10.99
  24. Looks great!
  25. Amazing job!
