    Sorry I've been missing out on the last few meetings. I finally got a permanent job,but my hours run 10:45am-7pm. I'll try to be at this coming meeting, and the nice thing is I have weekends off now.

    Try Citadel Miniatures Ceramite white paint for gaming minis. It has better adhesion than craft acryilics and the colors are very opaque. It has no issues drying on rubber/vinyl. They have a wide color selection including metallics and specialized texture paints.

    Just got in two Polar Lights Mach 5 kits from Ebay. Got them for about $12 plus shipping. One was still shrink wrapped and new, and the other was unwrapped, but the parts were still in bags.

    Got a Revell BMW Z8 Roadster for $1 plus shipping on Ebay. It's missing the chrome, but overall it's a new kit.

    Someone needs to remake the AMC cars like this. I'd love to have the Ambassador and Marlin. Very nice.

    I've got one that I built from a gluebomb. It's actually fairly detailed, especially the engine. It builds up nicely. The only part that I didn't care for is the way the body is split up. I ended up cutting the rear plate off the chassis and fitted it to the body to fill the gaps.

    I listen to metal, mostly, but I like big band/swing music sometimes. Cherry Poppin' Daddies, Royal Crown Review, etc.

    Got in a 1970 Monte Carlo from Ebay. It's in pretty good shape.

    It's a little fiddly on the body, but it's beautiful once it's built. It's extremely detailed. I have the convertible and it came out pretty well.

    I actually just recently got one of the Revell '53's. Most of the kit is okay. The engine is garbage, but I picked up a cheap 409 from an AMT Impala/Bel Air.

    Update: a now WRECKED 2009 Malibu. Some putz in a Toyota came to a stop in the middle of I70 because he couldn't figure how his lane merged. I stopped to keep from hitting him and the guy behind me didn't.

    Any more, I build them so they don't roll. One of my shelves came partway off the wall. Fortunately all of the models stayed put and only Bludgeon took the dive into the floor. Fortunately, he's Cybertronian, so he could take it and emerge unscathed.

    Just got in an AMT 1962 Bel Air. It's a little gluebombed, but not bad.

    I had one of these way back when. I loved that the headlights actually worked. I'll be watching this one.
