    I've got an odd question: In any of the parts packs, AMT or Revell, are there the smaller tires? Like the ones for the Capri II or the Corvair kits? It'd be nice to have for cars that had smaller tires to begin with.

    I live in a 2 BR flat. The second bedroom is my hobby room. If I need to paint something, I just go to the door and paint, then bring it back in to dry.

    Might also consider Citadel Miniatures Ceramite White. It's a nice satin finish. I just used it for the whitewalls on my '58 Chevy.

    It looks like a bunch of different emblems stuck all over the top of the dash. If you've got a good stash of kits, what about taking castings from several of them and making resin copies to glue on?

    Got a Monogram 1936 Ford Convertible. It looks like it'll be a nice kit. It's a little gluebombed, but not unrepairable. I like the slotted mags.

    I used to use one to clean parts for office equipment, especially the ink from printer heads and tech pens. We always ran alcohol through it. Didn't seem to hurt anything on those.

    Got in an original issue AMT Model T 3in1 kit. The instructions are brown...

    I've done the pearl white on the lenses and cleared. It looks okay... I prefer to cast the lenses and make clear ones, then drill out the old ones. I've used those googly eyes you can buy at craft shops to make the buckets and used foil to chrome them, then just glue the new lenses in on top.

    Yeah, that lower part does look like it would be fragile. Maybe some reinforcing with strip plastic/brass/aluminum?

    Wow, that's a complex kit! Looks great! How long does it take to warm up after you start the engine?

    For $1500? If you don't, I will. Still wish I hadn't passed up the Plymouth Conquest a few years ago for $500. I love those cars.

    Just got in a Revell Jaguar E-Type, molded in red. There's very few sink marks on this one. The only thing I can see wrong as far as the shape of the nose is just the shape of the headlight openings is wrong.

    I've cast them out of clear acrylic before and they turned out well. Clear epoxy will work too, although it tends to be yellow-ish.

    I usually only build one at a time. I might gather parts for others in the mean time, but I only actively work on one on the bench.
