    Got in a box of corvettes today, including a Manta Ray and a Corvette Indy.

    I open all of my kits, even duplicates, as soon as I get them. Like you said, it's to make sure all the parts are there.

    Sorry to hear they're retiring, but I hope they'll enjoy an awesome retirement. I hope someone will buy them out and continue the work.

    Windex works awesome to remove chrome. It just goes away, needs no scrubbing.

    Yup! Every car has some issue during final assembly. I always screw something up mating the body to the chassis.

    I gotta get me one of those. Good question, though. I'd like to have seen a Dodge or Chrysler from about that period.

    I'm sorry to hear you haven't had much response on your posts. I've posted a few here so far and didn't get a whole lot of response, but I still consider myself a newbie to the forum. Overall, though, people have been extremely friendly and helpful on here, and I've had great success with trades and part requests. I hope things improve for you.

    I've got a couple of my former 1:1's as scale models but don't have the money to go the other way. This is why I build models.

    It's a fun kit and builds up really well. It's worth all of the raves it gets.

    Used to drive a 1998 Deville Concours. Garnet red with a tan leather interior and Bose sound. It was awesome until the Northstar pooped out. I wish I could've gotten my uncle's 1974 Fleetwood hearse.

    The Lindberg/Pyro Dodge Challenger and 71 Mustang. They're both badly proportioned, lack any sort of detail and are completely worthless for parts. I got one of the Challenger's at Ollie's for $7 and still felt cheated. Round 2 should really kill off these kits.

    I'm using a folding wood card table right now. I haven't built anything since we moved and I couldn't stand it anymore. My dad's supposed to be bringing my other desk back to use as a workbench soon.

    I just got one. Loos like an interesting subject of a car that's difficult to find a kit of. Yeah, It's still a NASCAR car, but still. Got the Country Time Olds for cheap.

    Got in the AMT Country Time Bobby Hamilton Olds Cutlass. It looks like it'll be a fun kit.
