    Got a surprise earlier. I let the wife run into Ollie's earlier to get some plastic bins. She called me in, They had a huge selection of models for sale. Revellogram and Lindberg both. I picked up the 1937 Custom Ford Convertible, and I want to go back and get the 2007 Charger R/T Superbee. They were all $7.99

    I've got one of the Monogram GSX kits that I converted down to a 1972 Skylark Custom, just like my first car. It turned out really good.

    I loved that the guy said it was old, so was he, so he's not going to push it too hard. It's nice to see people get their cars back like that.

    Looks like one of the cars was a 1964 Ford Custom, according to the IMCDB.     Got in two today: A "S'Cool Bus" dragster. I got plans for this one. The other is a Toyota LiteAce van I picked up cheap. Nice thing is the kit is all there. It's going to be turned into Ratchet.

    Actually, I don't think the prices are as terrible as they seem to be. When I first started driving, gas ran about $.69 a gallon around here. The average model kit at the time ran about $10. Gas has more than tripled, but the price of kits has barely more than doubled. And occasionally, you can catch kits for $10 or less on clearance.

    Glue Bombs! Much cheaper than new ones. Just gotta be careful about how badly they got "bombed".

    I got a glue bomb of one of these in a lot of mustangs I picked up on Ebay. It's pretty rough. There was a yellow "Super Cobra" in the lot with it. I'll take the two and make one good kit of of the two, probably with the markings of the pace car.
