  1. from my old collection, I would have said the 1/48 C-130 Hercules. That kit was a monster. So were the 1/8 Corvette and Camaro I used to have. Currently, I would have to say it was one of the anime garage kits. I've paid upwards of $50 each for some of those. No wonder that site says I'm a VIP.
  2. Got in a Ford flathead engine for the 49 Ford kit. I think i'm gonna use it in my 49 Mercury woody, and use the engine from the Mercury in my gluebombed 49 ford.
  3. Whatever's in the CD player at the time. Typically: Dream Theater Kiss Lordi (not to be confused with Lorde) BulletBoys Skid Row/Sebastian Bach Sabaton WASP Savatage/TSO
  4. I'd take one of those. I had a '98 that I'd love to have a kit of.
  5. AMT 1994 Camaro Z/28. non-convertible kit. Got it for $3.75 plus shipping. Not sure if the tail lights are there, though.
  6. Sometimes, a glue bomb is the only way to get an out of print kit cheaply. I've picked up and few and once you get into them, the bug really gets you.
  7. Wicked!! There's nothing I don't like about this one.
  8. Excellent!! Beautiful job on a rare subject.
  9. Really, the only kit I've been disappointed in was the Munster's Coach/Dragula combo. They're stupidly simple kits, details are almost non-existant. Fortunately if you get the one in the tin, it comes with a book showing a lot of details. I'll be doing a lot of scratchbuilding on them.
  10. I had a 78 Volare that hated me. I was the second owner, the original had been an old lady that had been put into a nursing home. From the moment I bought the thing it started coming apart. My family and I went out to dinner one night a few weeks later and while I was in the restaurant the exhaust system snapped just in front of the catalytic converter. No way to repair it without replacing the whole converter. The car wasn't worth it, so we ended up running a straight pipe. Later on the whole exhaust fell off in the middle of the freeway. Someone bought the car off my parents and had it running again in about 5 minutes. I think it's still out there waiting on me.
  11. Very nice build. I love that design.
  12. I generally build year round, but I have to wait until I get my new room up. Once I get to start building again, I'm torn between the AMT 1/12 1937 Cord and some of my other projects. The Cord's gonna take a lot of work. It had been someone's shelf piece and looks like it took a dive. I'll have to remake some of the suspension bits.
  13. All of mine are unwrapped. We just had to move out of necessity due to bug infestation (thanks to some bad neighbors), so I had to move all of my kits from the boxes to 1 gallon freezer bags. None are even in boxes now. They do take up a lot less room now.
  14. Paint the body. while waiting on the body to dry, primer everything so I can see any defects. wetsand the body and polish. build the critical subassemblies and paint. I tend to build and paint some things at the same time.
  15. Okay, now that I've seen the kit, it's a must-have. Excellent.
  16. Great weathering!! Looks like the one Harry Dresden should be driving.
  17. Would definitely get the Charger again anyway. It was an awesome kit. I'd like for it to have options for the other years, though. Also one of the flat hoods would be nice. Would it be too much trouble to ask for the non "Air Grabber" hoods on the Mopars?
  18. Might have to get one of these.
  19. That's good. I can come up with headlight buckets, but the lenses would have been difficult. Now I'm really looking forward to this one. Anyone got a full parts breakdown?
  20. So, 1/20 scale, and still molded in headlights? Really? That's gonna be fun to make clear lenses for. Otherwise, I'm excited about this one.
  21. Really nice job.
  22. I like the stance on this one. Looks like it would be a really neat club racer.
  23. Nice work so far. I look forward to seeing how this one comes out.
