  1. I use a mix of Miliput white and Games Workshop's "green stuff". I found the Milliput didn't stick well and was too crumbly, but the green stuff was too flexible and wouldn't file or sand well. The mix is just right.
  2. I just got a set of these in the Henry J gasser kit. I'd forgotten about them. I think I'll order a set of pro street tires from Ebay.
  3. Oh dear ugly! The rambler's not so bad from the outside, but the interior is atrocious. The Lincoln is just something that needs to be burned. I can practically hear it screaming "help me!".
  4. Revell Ferrari California at the LHS for 12.99
  5. Nice! I'll have to pick up one of these.
  6. Good looking build. I love the color. That was a fun kit.
  7. Looks like the grille section from a Cobra. Good work so far. Keep it up.
  8. I'm gonna have to get one of these. I don't care about the Jaegermeister paint scheme, but I'd love to get the detailed transporter like that.
  9. It just depends on the mood I'm in. I like music sometimes, sometimes I want silence. Sometimes my wife will sit in the living room with me and read. It's all good.
  10. Man, I'd love to get ahold of the Dodge Demon and Rampage. I'm hoping Round 2 will release these eventually.
  11. Music typically. I've got speakers on my desk that I can plug into my MP3 player, plus I've got my stereo and CD's in the same room.
  12. Very realistic looking. If you were going to do a rat rod or junkyard scene, that would be perfect.
  13. Bare Metal Foil. Handy stuff.
  14. Is it sad that I rather like the design of it? At least it's not the plain beige of most modern cars. I'd like to see the rest of it.
  15. I saw an "art" car one time on the freeway that was covered nose to tail in 5 1/4" floppy disks. They were about half glued on and flapped in the wind. Dumbest thing I ever saw.
  16. I like 32 fords, but I get a little tired of seeing the 32 grille on every street rod. Personally, I like the Model A grille.
  17. Excellent work, especially for a first time.
  18. Got a Monogram 65 Corvette kit last night in the mail from Ebay. It's missing a couple of minor pieces, but I got it for $3 plus shipping. No complaints.
  19. They do build up quickly, don't they?
  20. BMF works really well as long as the surface you're putting it on is smooth. If you can find PE pieces that are the right size/shape, those polish up to a mirror finish.
  21. Good Start! The Camaro kit is really nice, and so is the Mini. I've got both of those in my stash too.
  22. They were the nearest cousin to a wood burning kit, weren't they?
  23. I'd heard of a few of these, like Hupp and Oakland. Still a really neat article.
  24. 2 Revell 1930 Ford Woodies from Ebay for less than $30.
  25. Actually, that looks pretty good. At most, you should be able to take some needle files and clean up the lines a little. Beyond that, excellent work.
