Just ANOTHER beautiful build off your Bench,Mark! It's REALLY great to see these older builds being REbuilt into BEAUTIFUL models again, FINALLY being built to their TRUE potential! Keep it up Brother, as you ARE provideing a GREAT service!!! At least I(me) think you are!!! THANKS!!!!! ;)
Well it's about time you stepped in from that PARADISE you live in to work onna model, for a change!!! Where you been Bro? Like as if LIFE itself is MORE important than MODEL CARS! (Do I sound like some anal members? )Just glad ta see ya back atha bench, Greg. You KNOW how much i enjoy these updates from you. I've NEVER seen a 240 Z being assembled, and THIS is probably THE closest I'll EVER get! Keep it up, Bro, we still VERY interested in this build!!!
THAT would be nice Steve, but with Trumpeters track record, THAT'S not a real possibility! They don't put much into their kits as far a personalizing them goes. Their pretty much just stock.
The nicest ones I've seen are from M.A.D. model products. They're pre painted and come complete with decals, and you get TWO to a set for around 5 bucks. Check out his Dizzy's while your at it. Kris's stuff is THE BEST!!! :D
Corey, I've NEVER heard of tube glue freezeing, but if it's cold enough, anything will freeze! Are you sure it was a good tube when you bought it? I've had some tubes for years, but the tubes are still pliable, even though they're very old!
John, in this scale you better show us stuff in porportion to the REAL thing,Daddy-O, caz with the way YOU build, we WON'T be able to tell if it's REAL or plastic!!! :D This is gonna be cool!
Jim, I used to see them at Target, in the die cast toys. they're 24th or 25th scale if i remember correctly. But that was awhile ago, and I'm NOT sure if they're even still in production.
Well it may have taken you three kits ta get it like you wanted it, but it WAS worth it! VERY nice build! Great color an wheels(How can ya go wrong with Cragars?)GREAT BUILD!
Gare, sorry, but it just wasn't my cuppa tea. Then I remembered, your CANADIAN!!! No wonder your excited! How many older Canadian cars are we seeing? Glad you finally got some respect! I'm not sure but i THINK one of the PE guys makes a conversion kit for a 69 Chevelle to convert it into a 69 Pontiac Beaumont, or something like that. Steve Millbury used to show it as his avatar. Didn't the original 57 Ford come with that Meteor grille as a custom peice?Along with the custom tailights from the 57 Edsel Wagon?
Just got mine!!!Looks pretty good so far, but I don't read it all at once, I read my favorites first, then I just go thru it as I please, it takes longer to read that way!
ANY 68 to 70 Dodge/Plymouth muscle car, 66 Chevelle,, 68 to 73 Novas, 69 Camaro's an the 69/70 Mustang Boss 302's. ALL classic styled and FAST! But in reality, i do tend ta like 'em ALL! Forgot the 69 SC/Rambler, gaudy little GIANT killer!!!!
JoHan DID cast Spyder wheels with their "Fast Eddie Schartmann" Pro stock Maverick. I KNOW this kit came with them, but I'm not sure about any others. Hope this helps.
I'm not sure about the Spyders, But check out Alan Raab, at Ma'sResin's, He's got ALL KINDSA tires that'll make ya HAPPY!!!! AND they're NOT hard resin, but soft rubber!!! GREAT tires, check him out! you'll surprised!
HOLY CRIPES Don! I ain't never seen THAT done before!! EXCELLENTO jobbo my freind!!!! That's a trick for someone more talented than I! But you DO make it look EASY!!! I betcha the figgerin was a BEAR!!!! GREAT CHOP!!! PLEASE finish it (the car!) ;)
