  8. Well just got my issue 137, and to me, it was just as good as usual. Personally, I like the goofy lil stories that're made up to go with the model. Like the one last year about the Mack truck that went thru all the owners!. I mean, the scale wasn't my speed, but I liked it just the same. It's a pretty good issue, if ya ask me. I'm enjoyin it! Thanks Gregg,Harry, an the folks over't Golden Bell!.
  9. Hey Ol Dude, whar ya at? Haven't seen any O' yer neet rats lately, waz up?
  10. AH YES, the BIG IF,,,,,,, Haven't we all heard that, eh? Well at least I do hope they can get it going again, cause they did have some really nicely cast models. Thanks for the update Terry I REALLY do appericiate it! ( now I won't bad mouth 'em anymore!)
  11. Well Thanks for the info Terry, Yes, I din't know it was sold! They REALLY had some well cast bodies.I got their 68 GTO, and it was just as nice as a plastic kit, but it took 6 mos. and reapeated threats to get my item! Here's hopein that's ALL behind them now! Thanks again!
  12. AFX???? ARE they STILL in buisness???? They shouldn't be, after all the folks they've ripped of, or tried to! STAY AWAY from them! They ARE bad news! Unless there's something we all should know!?!
  13. Clay, I'm not sure of the name, But "Mid -West Tractor Supply" come to mind for stuff like that. It's a REAL tractor supply firm that sells collectable toys/Die-Casts. I'll try to find my old Catalog to send you. I have QUITE a few of their offerings, an they sell 1/50th and 1/25th scale heavy equipment. I've got about 6/7 Hi-lo's(fork lifts) 3 different "BobCat" vehicles an just a bunch more neat/interesting things, like Asphalt Rollers, A Corn Combine(it's BIG) and assorted machines in that vein. I'll look for my catalog an try ta get you a proper address. BUT I'll tell you now, they AIN"T CHEAP! My Hi-lows ran about 40/50 bucks a peice, BUT they ARE UNIQUE!!!
  14. I got an Iwata "Smart Jet" and it only kicks on when your using it. Now all I gotta do is LEARN how TO use it! And the 2 airbrushes I also own!
  15. Virge, I gots ta agree with the Cap'n It NEEDS the Daulies in the back, BUT use a set of 32 ford spoked wheels WITH wide whitewalls! Shabby sheek! Yes, I DO like it, Why?
  16. You sure it ain't a Deeetroit Rat Rod? It's REALLY mean lookin, and it can BITE! Sure came out cool, I LIKES it!!!
  17. Good Luck Squirt, Hope all goes well and God Bless!
  18. Great build, looks real good! I'm always surprised at how well you guys from Europe got "our" street looks down so well, when your so far away! My pal Jurgen from Austria's got a kickin REAL 68 Firebird Convert, that he JUST got a set of Cragars for. You guys rock!Ya'll would fit right in over here!
  19. So it's just a plastic version of the 68 Die-cast "Bullet" Mustang? Well, that's ok cause it still looks like a 68 to me. I'll hafta go get me one.
  20. WoW!, Talk about unique! THAT'S COOL! Flights of the imagination don't usually land so well! The decking is BEAUTIFUL, and the whole thing is just too cool! Great build, GREAT imagination for doin it!Outstanding build!
  21. What, YOU don't pay taxes? But I agree, this isn't a political OR a music site, so we should stick with the subject of the forum!Last I looked, it was STILL model cars.
  22. How bout a smaller priced Badger 150/250? I only paid 20 bucks for mine 20 someyears ago, and I've seen it as cheap as 30 bucks at at Micheal's (even cheaper with their 40% off coupon) It's a GOOD starter airbrush for beginners, without all the complicated adjustments of a more expensive brush. Most kits even come with a can of "PropeL" to start painting right away.Hope this helps
  23. OOOOOO,Lyle That's NICE! The color is perfect for that body style! The rims with the caps is a GREAT trick! Another Fine job youve gotten us into!!!
  24. Zack, depending on what kit your workin on, there shouldn't be a gap between the body and chassis, unless it's a truck. If it's just a small gap between the chassis plate an the rocker panels, a quick wipe with some liquid glue(I use Ambroid liquid solvent glue)between the parts, an a rubber band to hold em together an no more gap! Hope this helps
