  1. Don't forget all the TV/Movies we can watch on our PC!! I have Season 1 of Adam-12, 1-3 & the movies of Emergency, Also Collection-1/season 1 of Mythbusters. Plus all the On-line sites. Veoh, Hulu, Vimeo. Even Screwtube is now offering Full episodes instead on 10 minute max pieces All the US Networks offer Recent broadcasts on their own sites, as well as through others Hulu, istore, etc. How many Networks from Europe, Japan, Asia also have this?? Heck, I play mp3's and play solitaire at times!!!
  2. I want the 58 Bonneville too, but a Stock Convertible!!!!! Indy 500 anyone??!!!
  3. Make sure the Pre-nup states 'In tact' or Full Collector Value!! She trashes them, she pays!!
  4. Those MoPar Recall wheels ARE in th e MPC 69 Barracuda though. So Not like you can't get them to put On the Daytona. I have 2 of the 69 Cuda so I have some. How about the Grill on the Taurus Police issue?? Only decals. How are they suppose to show on a Black nose???? The CHP issue should have been a different agency!! I have one of that issue & one of the Robo-cop issue. Both are suppose to be painted black Black decals will NOT show on a Black body!!!!
  5. That is when I am Up Anyway. I Sleep during the day! Got into that when I first got the 'net. Had Dial-up and had to wait till 11PM-Midnight to surf. Just Stuck!!! I set up sleeping at night, and the next day or 2 and I am Up through the night & Sleeping through the day again!!!!
  6. Hope they add the Stock parts from the El Camino to the 66 Malibu wagon this time since they put the hot-rod parts from it in the Recent 2n1 El Camino!! I have the original's of both. El Camino is Stock Only Wagon needs the hood, tires & hubcaps from El Camino to be stock!!
  7. I agree on the van NOT getting the open window option returned, they did not give us the open hood it use to have!!! But look at the side panel of that box. It shows the Rescue, Police & Custom Options With the Open window panels. I Have that box still and a parts lot from a Penski set so I do have the panels to make either a cargo or Passenger van. Also, the Rescue Did include at least One Bench, though mounted sideways on the right side of the interior. I hope the stretcher, bull horn, rope coil etc are included. I have that stretcher in an MPC Snap kit Blazer Emergency Rescue issue. (Same build option as last 1975 Snap Blazer kit) I too hope the Stock wheels/tires are included in the Ranchero. The pic's show Dog-dish caps. My 2 kits have fill wheel cover. They are both Curbside, since the original Styline came that way. (1 of mine Is a Styline, the other the Desert Race "El Ranchero Grande") Curious about the Grill too since they are calling it a 60 this time. It has always been a 61, though my "Grande" kit calls it a 62
  8. I know this is a NO, but does the Rescue van mean we are Finally getting the Open Window option Back in that Chevy Van?? I have my Original of that issue and would Love to have those back!! Will we at least be getting the Bench seats back for a Passenger option?? What about the open Road version they had??? On the 65 Galaxie, are they returning the separate clear red tail light lenses to this kit?? I have a Convertible and need a pair of those
  9. Sadly, The 72 seams to have disappeared again. All the Recent re-issues (Even the Rides Mag version) have become High dollar kits on that evil bay place!!! Mine is the Revell 65 stretched to fit. The gap over the cab is because I have not added the separate cab roof piece yet. I need to have a good Sunny day (BE Awake too) and take some more pic's showing the stretched Revell frame It looks better because the 65's roof is not as tall as the 55!! Entire Body is lower, not just the roof. The Motor Home Can be mounted to the 55, just stretch the frame correctly then shim the body to fit up and over the roof Oh, The rubber bands are because I have not glued the walls of the Motor home body together yet
  10. I think 2 versions were offered of the "Boyd's Hauler" Full glue & Curbside. The Curbside may even have been a Slammer with black-out windows and NO interior. I did not buy any then as I was not interested in the non-stock only build I believe they did the same on the Chezoom "57 Chevy" kit too
  11. Here is my Original 74 Road Runner. YES the Police parts are Original to the kit!!!! Note the separate grill sections. I do not recall them in the W-M Checkerboard box issue of the kit I have!! I believe the grill is now one piece
  12. I said "The Original Chassis/engine is likely what you get in the Roscoe Police car or 74 GTX/Road Runner/Daisey Duke kit" Look at the 74 GTX/Road Runner, 69 Charger's, etc Do Not compare this to the Modern tool AMT 68 Runner/69 GTX I recall reading Here no less, that the Dash in the pre-Daisey Duke issues of the 74 GTX/Road Runner had the Dash from the 77/8 MONACO! So Yes, I still say, the ORIGINAL 70 Annual Coronet-Super Bee chassis IS in the Roscoe Police kit. I can proove it too. I have an Origina l Annual in the resto shop. I also have built 73 & 74 Road Runners I can take pic's of. let me upload a few pic's of the Original Coronet Super Bee to photobucket and I can show what the chassis use to look like Here it is Look at the Interior TUB too 2 more pic's of it in the album
  13. Why did anyone say a car, etc body could not be printed due to lack of internal material. Aren't they Suppose to be hollow?? The only solid models I have are the trophy tops in a few kits, and maybe one or 2 OLD Diecast ones, one Old wooden one and a few of the Cast "Wooden Ooden" nascars. Since we go to so much trouble detailing the interior, why would anyone think the body would be printed out solid? They can print out a Working Assembled Adjustable wrench why not a correct hollow car, etc body?? In-fact, isn't a member here doing just that for resin masters?? Amphicar, etc?? As to replacing kits, not for several years. 50-100?? Maybe So far, what I see as the most difficult part will be the cement needed. Plastruct uses ABS for their primary offereings, Sheet, tube, etc. I still have not found the right cement/glue for them, even that offered BY Plastruct is no where near as good as plain old testor's tube can be on Kit styrene, Evergreen & even Plastruct's Styrene accept it just as well. Superglue/ACC, & even epoxy are not that good at holding on Plastruct's material. If the printout is even close to that..................
  14. Talk to friends into Paper models, they use Several 3D programs Pepakura, Metasequoia, Blender & Anim8tor are 4 I know of Just "Search" 3D drawing and you will find Many already out there. I Build and Collect Paper Models along side Plastic & diecast, but do not Design they yet. I have a few of the 3d freeware software programs on my PC too. Pep, Anim8tor & Blender are in my Paper Models folder along with a few 2d drawing programs
  15. I am not sure when the 'Cheyenne' name was added to Chevy's pick up, but do remember my 72 annual box stating CHEYENNE. Most of the 67-72's I have are CS & CST, Some have the Cheyenne badge too. Location of the badge, being a CS or CST will help with the model year of the kit. I have 69's with the CS/CST on the door directly under the window, and on the front fender just in front of the door line That is the location of the Cheyenne badge if it has that. My first of this era Chevy/GMC pickup was the MPC 71 Annual New. I now have several of them, though am not sure as to which are MPC & which are AMT unless I got them in the box. I have 3 unbuilt/started GMC shortbox Stepside, 4 of the MPC Longbox Stepside, 2 of the Heavy Pedal Long-Stepside issue, 2 '67's one a resin conversion, 69 awaiting restoration completion, 2 more 69's that Had the Motor home body now only cab/chassis 71 Fire Truck resto project (no grill but the 71 front bumper), boxed 71 Pickup with Wedge. That one was painted awaiting paint stripper. 2 of the Stock hubcaps are damaged, but otherwise it is complete I THINK I have a 68, but am not sure. I got a lot of 5 Built painted that all I have done so far is replace the custom rims/tires with Stock tires & hubcaps I need to take pic's of these!!. I also got a LARGE lot of parts/built's from a "Wacko" dealer on evilbay at a VERY CHEAP price and have maybe 5-6 more to work with including 2 Hazzard Tow trucks and 4-5 More of the Tow truck parts!!! Also in the lot but in bad shape are 2 sets of Sierra Grande pickup bed sides!! Just wish the script was in better shape! Do you think I Like this era Chevy/GMC Pickup???? I found a couple pic's of my 65 Open Road project. Sorry they are so dark, but my camera is Old, 1.3 MP and does not like to take flash pics Notice some Chrome on the Dually centers?? They were the Chrome Reverse rims in the kit. The outer rings are from the parts box. Tires are Rubber Firestone Gum-Dipped Darlingtons!!!! Yes the ones from AMT's Turnpike Slotcar sets!! They fit the wheel wells and look large enough for the build
  16. How long before we have the matching 3D scanner as cheap so we can replace lost, copy parts we use most??
  17. Buying this "Camper" loose is Doubtful as this is Not a Camper, but a "Mini-Motor Home" This would have been sold Complete by some Chevy, etc dealers, but mostly by Open Road dealers Winnebago sells Mini's like these too and all are ready to go not the bodywork for retro-fit. That is not to say it was not done. If you could find one on a wrecked chassis and mounting it to yours. Would take extra work, but doable. The Mini-Motor Home kit was originally offered in the MPC 68 Chevy Cheyenne Fleetside kit. The last issue as a stand alone parts pack allong with the "Racer's Wedge" car carrier Your 55 Chevy cab has a Taller roof thus the difficulty in getting a good attachment. Do you have the 55 Pickup chassis stretched? or are you just butting the 2 together?? Mount the cab to its chassis and test the fit of the Motor home to it. It will need the wheelbase corrected. That AMT 55 Cameo is a Shortbox/short wheelbase version. once the frame is corrected, you will likely have to shim between the chassis & Motor-Home to get it ti sit correctly over the cab roof. I went to look for pic's in my Photobucket of the build I am doing with this Motor Home on a stretched Revell 65 Chevy, but have not uploaded it yet. (Lost what I had typed here in a browser reset too) As for the Tag-along parts added to this, I do not know that it would work. There is NO chassis frame as port of the body, and the overhang would cause problems too.
  18. The Ranchero came with 2 trim levels. No side trim and trim of the Custom 300. It is very likely some one took the Custom trim and applied it to a base Ranchero. Many 59's were upgraded with Fairlane500 inserts, so this trim on a Ranchero IS possible!!! I like this too. If I can get a few of the new kit, and more of the Old 'Squire based Ranchero's I may try this too.
  19. I believe 61 was the last year cars were sold New from the dealer with Wide Whites. Doers not mean you as a buyer could not still buy them for a newer car after. I am converting an AMT 64 Impala to convertible and it will have Wide-Whites. Maybe if your Belvedere was a Convertible you would like the looks of the wide-whites better on it,. Personally, I Prefer them to those things they call tires now-a-days!! Look more like rubber bands on Wagon wheels
  20. I have a good size list of Lost models. 2 Mission Impossible Coronet convertibles built, 68/9 Bonneville, 72 Grand Prix. and more. These were lost sometime around 71-72. We moved from NASA Wallops, Va, to Pocomoke, Md. I was only 10 so................ Memory is not the best. Most recent, LRE Dodge unbuilt re-issue and 2 Longbox Dodge Pickup restoration projects Put those in a large shoe box, and moved it up to my attic, but can not find it now!! Found what I thought was it, but empty!!!!
  21. The Cord, Lilncoln, & Auburn are even OLDER that the IMC tooled Dodge & trailers. Those are PALMER kits from 59-65 era!!!. So Yea, They are what they are. I did not know Lindberg had released anything for 5 years!!!! I have the L700/flat trailer 40 Ford set. Got it at W-M of all places just before they dropped kits a few years ago. (I have not seen any at my W-M since reading that they are back and even show as a retailer on the Revell website) I hope to get the Coca-Cola issue soon. and any of the others I can.
  22. Decals?? I know the last re-issue of th e65 Lincoln had decal instead of contact paper wood-grain. There is at least one aftermarket that offers different colors of wood-grain decal too. Don't remember the name though
  23. AMT & MPC have been ONE company for Almost 25 years!!. Ever since Ertl bought them. No agreement needed Yes, the Chassis/engine parts in this 70 Coronet Super Bee Are from the Modern tool 68 Road Runner/69 GTX. The Windows are also from them! This kit has been called a Boxed Kitbash kit Since the First re-issue. The Original Chassis/engine is likely what you get in the Roscoe Police car or 74 GTX/Road Runner/Daisey Duke kit I do wish the Original kits Rally wheels were included. I am getting tired of ONLY the 5 spoke rims in ALL of Round2's MoPar kits What happened to all the Hubcap options in these Old kits too??
  24. I was hoping for the screen material. Oh well. Just have to find it through Walther's or see if the R/C manufacturer in Del has it in his Storefront Hobbyshop
