For School bus, How about an Old Crown Firecoach built??? Fire Buff builders would love that, it would give them the cab front for Many Crown Pumpers & trucks!

Did Tonka ever offer a Styrene Kit?? No, I bought this as a Separate Kit and Assembled it Many years ago. (68-72) The Bow tip is a Chrome piece and not yet attached. There Is an engine under the cowl between the second and third seats. I almost want to say it was a Lindberg kit, but I do not believe that it is. I wish I still had either the box or instruction sheet so I would have the info on who's kit it was.

Wheat's Nostalgia use to offer the Edsel Roundup and Ranch Wagon. But at some time stopped selling kits and only sold completed built versions. Anyone know if Joe is still active?? John Heyer in New York also offered resin copies of the Revell 57 Squire, but again, I have not heard if JR Toy & Hobby was active. Same with Bob Swartz in Savannah, Mo.

My Scale rule shows 18 ft 3 inches. I can try to take a Pic of the scale ruler & model in Daylight. Pocomoke Had a Mid-Mount ALF 100. Got rid of it Before I could get pic's & measurements.

Here is a Boat kit I built MANY Years ago. I do not remember the brand. I don't have the instruction sheet or box anymore. I remember that it had a piece of string/to represent rope, rubber tube for the exhaust pipes. I looks like ti falls between 1/25 & 1/32. There Is an engine under the cowl. The figures from a Revell 59 Ford Almost perfeectly fit the seats. They are sitting there now Anyone recognize it?? It did have a Full Sliding Cabin, but I lost those parts. I believe I got it in th elate 60's (68-9) to early 70's (70-72)

I have the 58 Cadillac in a Heller box. Like you said, Detail is Soft on the body. Worse, the chassis is set up for battery & motor. The rear axle is cast to the chassis, but the lower suspension arms are separate, and like the Imex/Imai kit has Real metal coil springs!!! At least it has detailing decals for under the tail lights/backup lights.

Question on the Rev "Show & Go" Boat. Is that the same as the "Hemi-Hydro"?

From the rear it is either a 63 or 64. Jo-Han offered both in kit form. The 64 Coupe & Convertible DeVille's were included in the USA Oldies series. I have both.

When my mother had one, the hospital is so small they used one like this. But not on a semi-permanent pad like the one pictured. It travels around the state, so only parks just outside the Emergency Room. Semi cab was still attached too I think. It was a few years ago

Got rid of the kit right after finding the Cheap unusable seats in it. Gave it away to get rid of it. I will wait to get a Revell version now. I wanted the Promo versions in the different colors, but not anymore How do you prevent the chemical reaction there?? I wrap rims with foil before mounting the tire to block it Can't do that with the seat. or have they Finally found rubber/vinyl & Styrene compounds that do not react over time now??

This will be the Third issue of that Rescue Blazer and Fourth of the kit itself!! New Tool. NO Way It was re-issue only a few years ago as a 75 Not showing, but including all the rescue parts & decals Identical to the first Rescue issue. If they were going to re-tool it, why not make it a Full Glue kit??

AMT issued many Jo-Han kits from 66 through the mid 70's That is only ONE of the Jo-Han Javelin/AMX offered in an AMT box They also offerd the Penski Mark Donahue Nascar/Trans Am kit. It was available both in stores and through Coca-Cola. I have 3 for Proof!! 1 bought in a JJ Newberry's the other 2 ordered from a card in a carton of Coke!!! AMT also boxed the 66-68 & 70 Olds Toronados. I have the 67 & 70 in AMT and 2 70's in Jo-Han boxes AMT also used the same Blue-Steak Stock car tires in their nascar kits that Jo-Han did.

Do all of AMT's Challengers have Rubber/vinyl seats?? Where can I get Styrene/resin replacements?

ALL AMT Annuals save those that only were offered as Hardtop/sedan or Wagons had a Convertible Interior. AMT issued the Convertible first then the Hardtop leaving the interior tub unchanged. I Have Too many of those Oldies to not know that!! I have already fir the 59 Impala interior into the Buick body. I did have to file the chassis plate & underside of the interior to allow it to fit. My Buick kit had a Separate Roll pan under the bumper It is not easy to see here. and more so since the chrome has faded off the bumper. I added the backup lights. they are Aluminum tube & clear rod filed to rough shape I need parts for my Galaxie. (And to find the box or instruction sheet. But I Am working to restore it Here is a pic. Only have that one hubcap

The MPC 67-72 Chevy Pickups were also Promos so limitations from that were added. Surprised they diod the Bed proto-typically. But maybe at the time they could not do it the cheap poorly detailed single piece like they do now. I do like Revell's OLD school method on the VTS Ram. My 60 & 63 Ford's are like that Cab & box sides cast in one piece with the bed floor and cab back wall in the Ram as separate pieces.

Me Too!!!! Wish they had found it when they did the Imperial Here is mine. It started as the Boondock Bommer kit!!! Windshield frame is now from a Monogram 59 Impala!! Might use the interior from that too. Just try to modify it to Buick patterns Note the added Electra 225 rocker trim!!

The Boondock is a Race/Rally car. I call them the Desert race or Desert Rally series Think Baja 500/Baja 1000 The Characters in the car don't look Latino to me so I don't count them in the 'South Of The Border' series I have 3 from that series including the Buick! The other 2 are "El Ranchero Grande" 62 Falcon Ranchero and 'Tourista Turismo' 62 Galaxie hardtop. The decal sheet was identical in all of the series. It included all the kit names, generic numbers and different number boards, ie flamed box/rectangle on the Buick box above. Wish this series could be re-issued! Or at least the cars in the series. Too many were destroyed ie 'Mexicali Mudlark' 66 Buick Skylark I do not remember the original tires in my 2 Boondock Bombers being White walls like in the box art This 59 Buick could Only be built Stock!! The Ranchero had Some custom parts. I do not remember if the Galaxie was 1 or 2 option. Too Long ago, and I am not sure where the instruction sheet is now!! I think the Thunderbird could be re-issued, and we Did get the Caliente from Model King a few years ago.

I have 2 Older issues. I traded the interior tud from one. Many have said the tub is too short, but Both oif mine were correct length. Just the one in the W-M Checker-Board box was ingraved as a 2 door not 4 dr like it should be. I need to get back to them some day. I took some pic's of the tubs, but they are not in my Photobucket albums Chassis/Engine/etc are identical to the Vicky, and all other AMT 32 Ford kits.

I can not say what rims were in the Firefighter issue even though I have one. I was given this by a friend already built. I re-built it and painted it. I also replaced the thin round tail lights.
