  1. Never said it did. You have to admit that there are those that it does apply to.
  2. Brett, some folks never HAD a sense of humor, they're the ones who go around being offended on behalf of others.
  3. You mean we're not supposed to keep it secret so that we can feel superior to the "commoners" on the forum?
  4. So ... do you ever plan to tell us what this major, game stopping issue is or are you making stuff up?
  5. Since the steel wheels are on a tree where nothing else would be chrome it would be reasonable to assume that the wheels would, likewise, not be chrome. Looking at the reference pics, it appears that the wheels weren't always chrome on the 1:1 either.
  6. "That sound you heard was not the engine falling off." "The engine is not on fire."
  7. I'm puzzled about something; the glass doesn't fit, the tail lights don't fit, the tires don't fit properly, the exhaust is wrong but it's still an awesome kit! Revell puts the wrong picture in their instructions and the WHOLE COMPANY is peopled with incompetents. I'm confused.
  8. So ... um ... on the engine with the finned heads, where do the radiator hoses attach?
  9. Stopped at our "local" Hobby Lobby on Friday. Nothing on clearance (or well hidden).
  10. Sounds like Archer Dry Transfers. http://www.archertransfers.com/
  11. Tomorrow never comes.
  12. I have fond memories of the Revell Tri-Fives from my childhood. Them and "Black Cats"!
  13. Ah, but I don't think it was the above post that rattled the hornet's nest but, rather, the post below. Was it really necessary to to opine that Revell is stupid and a "joke of a company"? Is that really a review of the kit in question? I didn't think so. Personally, I'd like to see a LOT more examples of "typical stupidity" before I accept that it is, indeed, typical.
  14. Because facts can get in the way of a good rant.
  15. Because we all know that 10+ year old decals should be in perfect condition.
  16. That is a really well done figure but do you know what I'd really like to see? A Rock Band! I need some musicians in the worst way and I can't sculpt bricks!
  17. Not working for me. Could be the angle but it looks cross-eyed, like my cat but not as cute.
  18. I think it would be great to have a 1/24 scale "mini me" to put in my shop diorama. Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately) they only go down to 1/20 scale, but someday ... perhaps ...
  19. That Mustang Mach I concept is a thing of absolute beauty, exceeded only by the Mustang Milano (in the Ford Mustang universe).
  20. Yep ... tools bought and paid for waaaay back in the day. Cut new steel for a very limited market like that and watch your accountant have an aneurism.
  21. I believe the bench seat was an extra cost option in the Camaro. Base would have been buckets with no console.
  22. Ah, I see! Too much stress in my life right now. Subtlety does not make it through the filters.
  23. Therein lies the paradox; an apparently very active NASCAR modeling forum but when you try to sell NASCAR kits, there are few, if any, buyers. $3.00 on ebay? Shipping is a deal breaker (total price often exceeds $10.00). $5.00 at a swap meet? I've had guys pile up 10 NASCAR kits (at $5.00 each) and offer me $20.00. $2.00 each!! Part of me says I should take it (better than nothing, right?) but that's flippin' ridiculous.
  24. That is so very cool! I've never seen that kit. Tell us more, please.
