New Moebius Ford Pick-ups 1971 Ranger XLT AND 1969 Custom SWB
Austin T replied to SteveG's topic in Truck Kit News & Reviews
That is one of the funniest model related things I have heard in a while. -
What if people were open minded?

Great job with the decals. Looks great.

Nice project. What year is it? My dad had and 03' Firefighter before he traded it in recently. -
ford Talladega/ford falcon
Austin T replied to richcrabman's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
In all honesty your best bet is to get a mad max kit and go from there. As for the expensive part it's a a recent low of around 45-50 bucks because they recently repoped it. If your going to use a couple kits and the parts box resin body your easily going to spend double the current price and still have to do all the work. I hate to say it but there is no way to build a interceptor for under 30-40$ unless you get lucky. And on a side note I have seen a Falcon XB in person and they share almost no sheet metal whatsoever with a us ford car. -

I know how you feel. I make it a point to visit my LHS at least three times a week maybe even more. But then again I also work there... -
I have been thinking about this for a while and have seen several on facebook so I figured that the leading model car forum on the net should have some. If you are unfamiliar with what a meme is here is the definition Meme: an idea, style or action which spreads, often as mimicry, from person to person via the internet, as with imitating the concept. For example here's a good model related one. Now since we all know the rules of the forum I'd like to keep the meme's clean and on the topic of model kits. Don't use them against any specific person of group of people on the forum either. Here are some I made.

Nice job Chuck. I also remember that same Matchbox from my childhood, now I have to go dig it out. -
Oh my gosh that shifter is crazy! Is it scratch built.

Pretty cool. And just a heads up that's a 1969 AMC AMX.

I don't know why but it looks like the old Black Sabbath logo.

Looks sharp. I need to add that to my wish list.

Does anyone make a late 90's S-10 grille?
Austin T replied to CorvairJim's topic in Car Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
I have found a Jada/dub city diecast with the correct front grille. Some work would have to be done to get the correct bumper but it's a start. -

The model clearance was moved from the back corner of the store to ten feet from the main entrance. Needless to say no one really likes Avanti's -
WOW! For just your second kit that's great. Keep up the good work.

Jeep Wrangler Brute update 9/1

Excellent job so far. Any plans of casting this one? -
They do not come from the factory with the seat I understand, but I would say that more than half of them I have seen the dealers put a seat similar to this one on it. http://accessories.harley-davidson.ca/product/seats/solo-spring-saddle-white-diamond Or this one http://accessories.harley-davidson.ca/product/seats/solo-spring-saddle-black-leather. Most dealerships in the USA that get this bike add a few things on to the bike to make it look more "Vintage" I've seen seals like that, leather fringe,Ape hangers, and more. Granted they cost a few extra bucks because of the parts, but your buying a Harley, chances of you keeping it stock and not purchasing any aftermarket parts for your bike are very slim. And I also check the side mounted plate laws in the USA. The conclusion I have come to since most vary by state is it's fine if that's the stock location except for in California.

Very nice job. I can't find anything wrong with it.

Thats a cool kit. I found one at a flea market for 15 bucks, brand new. I'm pretty sure I used all of my luck that day.
