  1. I made a Holmes 500 rig. Depending on the age of the Holmes 750 you wish to make, perhaps the pics in this thread could be of some help.
  2. That is true, but it is available, I have three of them. I bought mine at shows, but I suppose you could contact him directly.
  3. It's not a good pic, but here's the Morgan Automotive detail Ford bed, dechromed.
  4. Are you looking for a part that's exactly what you need or a part that can be modified into what you need?
  5. Just need to find more striping. Looking good.
  6. The truck is the MPC 1978 Chevy pickup cab, the bed is from the Fall Guy MPC truck, and the 4WD stuff is from the Mule Skinner MPC truck. The GMC grille and roll bar are scratch built. The trim was done with patience and evergreen strip styrene (maybe it was plastruct, I'm not sure). Thank you for the kind words.
  7. The nozzles were carved out of a piece of styrene with plastic rod glued on where needed. There are pics earlier in this thread that may illustrate this better.
  8. A fair question. I heard something about Photobucket restoring pictures, so I went to this thread that was populated by images stored on Photobucket. It seemed to me the pictures were back, I just wanted to make sure they could be seen by others. I'm hoping to finish the station one day, but it is too large for my current work space. As the kids move out, I will take over more space...it's just a matter of time.
  9. Can you guys see the pics in this thread? If so, has Photobucket returned?
  10. From Google search: Automobile dealer promos were 1/25th-scale versions of cars and trucks that salesmen would show off to their prospective customers. While car companies have always made small replicas of their products, the heyday of these salesman's samples was the 1950s, ’60s, and early ’70s. By the way, they were pre-assembled and painted. The chassis and engine were usually molded in one piece.
  11. Be aware that the kit has the wrong inner front fender wells, see pictures:
  12. For hubcaps, these are wrong but they're as close as you can get in a kit (that I know of). Of course you'd have to replace the bowtie.
  13. Truck must not have a sleeper.
  14. https://www.pinterest.com/katmaxcole/gmc-motorhome/ If you look about 2/3 of the way down this page, almost all the in-progress pictures of my Hess conversion are present. I hope they can help you with yours. Tom Ellifritt
  15. I have done the Hess conversion. Photobucket ate my in progress pictures, but I'll see what I can do for pictures when I get home from work.
  16. Look here for some very useful tips: https://murtanovski.blogspot.com/2018/02/axel-foleys-chevy-nova-125-scale-model_15.html I hope this is of some help to you.
  17. Great job on that truck! You're right about the dash pad, it really should be there. Another item is the door drip molding curling back at the bottom when it gets to the bottom of the cab roof. The molding should go straight down. The door gap doesn't sweep back until it is below the molding, not near the bottom of the molding. Nonetheless, you're build is really nice, especially the engine compartment. Excellent.
  18. You'll get that Nova when I finally get around to creating the master. I assume the 9C1 package had the BASIC basic interior...If you have references for this Nova, it would be helpful.
