  1. Beautiful looking color and finish. Cleanly detailed looking from every angle.
  2. I also like the paint colors. They look very much like an optional color scheme that Ford had offered but was not often seen.
  3. Great job extending the roof and getting the overfall look of the four-door sedan body style. Great looking paint finish and chrome trim. Like the Injector Stacks and the right-hand drive.
  4. Beautiful looking paint and the stripes and interior color looks great. Much like an "Indy Pace Car" but a shade darker.
  5. Beautiful looking paint finish and color on both builds. The custom body work on the roadster looks very possible as a real car.
  6. Had the same problem with the shock tower cover on the earlier Charger I built some time ago. Found the instructions had the part numbers switched from side to side. They are shaped a little differently, and looking at your under-hood picture this may be the same issue.
  7. Great looking interior detailing.
  8. Great looking paint and chrome trim.
  9. Great looking paint color. Like the "smooth" look without the body trim.
  10. Please post any pictures of the show you may take.
  11. While I haven't built this kit myself, what I have seen of the kit it seems about as accurate as you can get in this scale. The reason I mentioned looking at the shade of silver is that these cars didn't have the high metallic finishes we are accustomed to seeing today. The AS-12 Bare-Metal Silver is a flat military paint from Tamiya and doesn't show any real metallic much like the factory paint of the time. Covering it with the Tamiya Clear should give you the factory looking shine. Now if your subject has a different shade or higher metallic finish than factory your using spoons with a few colors to compare would be the best bet.
  12. I have had mixed results as for the selling of kits. I found if I price the kits at or just below what they would pay at Hobby Lobby with the 40% off they do sell. I have had a few of the other sellers offer a pretty good price for a bulk purchase taking 20 or more kits at a time. Two problems I have encountered are people don't want to pay any type of premium for a hard to find or unique kit. The other problem is tires that disappear after viewing by some people.
  13. Check and see if you have any of the Moebus Hudson kits as they had a nice visor. The other would be any of the Galaxy '40's era Chevrolet kits.
  14. With the good-looking chrome trim on the fenders, I'm thinking maybe a sun visor and "bird" on the hood may be in order. Look up Ol'Skool Rodz and Car Kulture DeLuxe to see what some guys are doing with their 1:1 rides.
  15. An idea for all the "kids" in their 60's wanting to off their kits think about getting a table or two at a local model show/swap meet and that way you sell directly to the end user and there wouldn't be any debut about the condition of the kit they are buying. Been slowly doing this ever since my 60's and it seems to work well. Hanging around all day at the show anyway with a few models on display and I'm able to pick up a few new treasures as well.
  16. Great looking paint color and finish. The body chrome trim looks cleanly done. I agree with you on the assembly issues on this kit. The shape of the body is such that the chassis and interior have to be installed prior to the front and rear body facias.
  17. Are thinking full chrome body trim or shaved nose?
  18. Great OEM looking interior colors and layout.
  19. Something about a base model sedan carrying a big punch under the hood is very appealing to me.
  20. Had a similar shedding problem with our Yellow Lab years ago. We just got carpet that matched his coat.
  21. Really like the crisp clean look of this color combination. Great engine and chassis detailing. Remember when the Barber Pole drive shaft paint job was a common thing. The engine is a model all by itself.
  22. Great looking body work and paint. Like the way you opened the rear wheel wells. The body color and contrasting top look good.

    The Black Knight

Great looking El Camino. The paint and Black Knight trim look great.
  24. Had no idea this body existed. Beautiful looking paint color and finish. Like the stance and the glimpse of the interior.
