I really like the look since I owned one very much like this during my misspent youth. The premiered finish looks good, and the engine has enough detailing to represent a warmed-over Flat Head. The grill area and the rear roll pan are cleanly done. Like the wheels and tires. Great idea for the hub caps.

Diggin' those Dagmars - see at the 2023 ACME Southern NNL on Oct. 28

As I recall Dagmar was the stage name of a curtain TV series actress who was rather well endowed. -
Great looking body and interior color combination. Good looking chrome body trim. Another '64 Ford story. Lived in a small mountain community and knew a few guys that worked in construction. Two of them that worked together and were friends away from work as well decided they needed to order new '64 Fairlane 500 hardtops. They ordered identical Blue metallic with White interior cars with the 390 and 4 speed. Everybody in town knew who and where they were.

Besides the interesting story, this is a great conversion to a vehicle from your past. Always enjoyable to build a vehicle you have owned, and this build represents the colors common at that point in time and a nicely equipped car. Great paint finish and vinyl roof. The engine compartment looks good along with the chassis details.

The proportions of the doors and roof look good.

The '58 Chevy Nomad was a four-door body style, unlike the '55 to '57 two door that is so popular. The only two door wagons that Chevrolet offered in '58 was a base model called a Yeoman.

Have to agree, but for me the biggest attraction to these kits is the subject matter.

Great looking paint color and really smooth finish. Like the deep-set wheels.

The Future of Revell...for 2024 at least.

Like that they are reissuing the '68 Firebird. This is a great kit and nice detailing. I built one a year ago and would look forward to another now. The '57 Chevrolet Bel Air two-door and the Ford Wagon are both nice to see again. my only question is what new parts they are adding. -
On the Law Enforcement Charger. I have seen a few different types of front push bars used. Many in this area has a unit much like an Off-Road vehicle might have. The bar looks to be designed to protect the leading edge of the front fenders as well as the headlights. This design looks as if it would offer better protection for the cruiser doing a PIT maneuver on a Perp. The '64 Chevelle looks like a reissue of what was called the Craftsman Series by AMT. At that time the hood was molded shut and minimal chassis detailing. The proportions and the interior had good proportions. Look as if Round 2 is reissuing this in much the same way they have done with the Chevy Nova Wagon. They may issue it later with an engine, but with the hood already open it wouldn't be hard to find a small block in your stash somewhere.

Great looking diorama. Perfect way to display the Hearse. Realistic looking old paint finish.

Beautiful looking paint colors and finish. Like the theme. -
Glad you mention this is drivable since it looks more like a structure. Great looking finishes.

Great looking paint and trim. Never have built one, but something about the cartoon proportions and the driver just looks like it would be fun.
-
Great looking color and paint finish. Like the stance along with the wheels and tires.
-
Great looking paint finish and like the crisp clean looking color. Just the right amount of stripe trim and the wheels set it off well.

What did you see on the road today?

This is one cherry little '49 Ford. I have owned a couple of '51's which have very slight trim differences, but they never looked this good. As a family w got a new black '49 Ford Custom four door when I was a child. They were all great cars. -
I also got to meet the husband-and-wife team from Scale Model Decals at the Heartland Nationals in June here in Overland Park Kansas. Great people and very interested in any ideas for decals. They should be able to provide just about any type of pattern and ideas of how to use them for your build. In the past we would use some fabric with a pattern in it as if it was a mask and shoot the contrasting color over that. I'm getting some trim parts I need from MODLBLDR here on the forum so that I can start on mine after I finish the Baja Bug model. As for your Super Charger, depending on the look you want you could always tailor the hood opening around the Super Charger and have it stick thru the hood without any scoop. Maybe a hood from another model that has a scoop meant for a Super Charger and graft that section into your hood.

Both of these stories are very much like what Motor Trend has described as their problems. The magazine has a couple of EV's in their fleet for a yearlong experience of ownership. One of the things they seem to mention the most is traveling up and down the coast of California is that they often encounter non-working charging stations along with differences in connectors and the long time that it takes to recharge the EV. This is in a state that is trying very hard to be the first one to outlaw the sale of ICE vehicles in the near future. Motor Trend has expressed their issues driving between LA and San Jose. That is less than a day's drive even in the heavy traffic that they experienced. I think that the technology is far from being ready to be the only choice for fueling a vehicle, and they still haven't figured out how to create the energy without burning fossil fuels which was the main reason for an EV in the first place. Besides building large Solar Farms along with Wind Farms they still don't have the infrastructure to transport the energy to where it is needed. The unfortunate part is that the people that are supposed to make the decisions on how and what to do to make this happen don't seem to have any real idea of how to put it all together. As you may have guessed the two ICE cars in my garage have become a protected species.
