  1. Like the clean unassuming exterior appearance and the great interior. Something about a clean looking car with a Hemi under the hood that hits my hot spot.
  2. Great idea to combine these two kits. The body and paint look good against the interior. Like the engine and stance.
  3. Beautiful looking color and finish. I remember you expressed concern about the chrome foil not showing against the silver paint, but I think it looks great. Dulling the finish on the trunk looks more like stock since they were sort of a flat silver/gray color. The red interior and side moldings really standout.
  4. Great looking finishes. With the exaggerated body lines, the flames seem fitting to me.
  5. Great looking paint work and the silver color gives it a more sophisticated look. Nice looking chrome trim. The red line tires are a good touch.
  6. Great looking paint finish and color. The body decals laid down nicely.
  7. Like the grimy chassis detail along with the plow.
  8. Like the added color detailing on the bucket seats. This makes the interior look more interesting than all one color.
  9. Not sure what the Pontiac color you mentioned looks like. From the name Starlite I perceive that it may mean a color with some sort of metallic finish. There are many different shades of Black with a metallic finish out there in spray cans or premixed if that is what you are after. Another approach would be a coat of gloss Black and a coat of Pearl Clear. Sounds like a Garbage Truck used for something other than picking up the trash.
  10. Beautiful looking pictures. Hot August Nites has always been a special experience. We used to live in Sacramento and would drive over the mountain to go there during the show.
  11. This builder gets an A in creativity.
  12. I agree with you both. I have been watching what he has been doing on the Baja Bug conversion and when he offered the narrow headlight version, I ordered mine. The parts are all well done needing only a minimum of prep for paint. In my case the car I had was just a little different in the rear air intake below the rear window and the shape of the rear fenders. I would still suggest his kits for any builder wanting to do something like this. I'm going to do a little reshaping here and there just because I'm trying to replicate a specific vehicle from the past. I'm also impressed with the basic Revelle kit. I wouldn't normally build this subject but based on what I'm seeing with the basic kit I plan to build a slightly modified version in the near future.
  13. Great looking two-tone paint and the top is chopped just right. Like the stance and the wheels & tires.
  14. Like the added frame cross member.
  15. Like seeing the wide verity of vehicles that we don't get to see normally.
  16. Thank you for sharing. So many great looking vehicles.
  17. Revelle's '68 VW Beetle kit with a conversion from Texas 3D Customs. Many years ago, I had a Baja Buggy made from a '67 VW and a then available fiber glass kit for a full-sized Type 1. So far, I have removed part of the front fenders and hood area along with the rear fenders and engine cover. There will be some mods done to the Texas 3D parts, but only because there are some differences between what I had and what is available.
  18. Great smooth looking body, paint and color.
  19. Both have great looking finishes and well detailed.
  20. Great looking build and the decals look turned out good as well. As for the "Good Year" on the tires, back then the tires would get painted with a simple stencil and some sort of spray paint at the time. Usually not done to a show car standard as they only had to last a short time on the track and were then thrown away. The appearance may be closer than you may think.

Bright looking paint finish and clean minimal trim. Great looking stance and body mods.
  22. Beautiful looking paint and trim. The detailing of the interior as well the engine is outstanding.
  23. Great looking finishes.
  24. Great looking paint color and finish. Clean looking chrome trim and the interior is a good match.
  25. Great looking paint finish and the color goes well with the interior. Like the clean look of a more standard mainstream Camaro, the cowl induction hood may leave a few thinking there be more to the story here. Clean chrome trim and the hub cap and white walls look good together.
