  1. Based on conversations with a couple of different HVAC people in the past, the sizing of the heat or ac unites should match the square footage of the structure. Based on what they said using an oversized unit can be just as bad as an undersized unit. Something to talk to the HVAC people when the time comes.
  2. Sorry to hear about the paint problems.
  3. Rich looking color and shows the body lines well.
  4. Looks like this is based on one of those body kits that used to be popular to mount on VW chassis. In the late '70's I bought a partially done Bradly GT with the gull wing doors that wouldn't latch most of the time and a really tired 1300 engine. Interested with what you'll build out of this.
  5. Great looking engine. The color really looks good. May not be what you were looking for, but this sure looks nice just the way it is.
  6. The shape of the headlights on this body reminds me of the custom options in the original AMT '57 Chevy. The exhaust manifolds resemble what would be on a big block MoPar engine, think 383 or 440. Looks like the caster did a nice job on the chopped roof proportions. Like your firewall solution.
  7. Don't recall seeing your build before today. Like the clean and well detailed finishes starting from the beginning. Looking forward to following this build.
  8. Great find and this was a very advanced kit for the time. The plastic that AMT was using at that time, and the black plastic especially, could be polished to a high luster. Maguire's has a polish for plastics designed for headlights and taillights but also works well for boat plexiglass windshields that can even smooth over most seam sanding that may be needed. This may enable you to get the desired finish without painting this kit. Whoever started this kit was doing clean work and nice engine detailing.
  9. Great looking conversion on the body. Like the bed floor and the boom details.
  10. Elegant looking paint colors and finish. Like the interior.
  11. Beautiful paint color and finish. The engine is really cleanly detailed along with the chassis. Like the overall look.
  12. The British Green along with the Pearl Clear adds a little sparkle to the finish.
  13. Sorry to hear about what is happening with Roadkill. I have watched for years, been somewhat disappointed with the reruns for some time. I have not renewed my subscription to Motor Trend magazine that I have had since the '60's and I'm in a wait and see mode on Hot Rod magazine which I have also subscribed to for just as long. Content changes and the bi-monthly thing has started to leave me a little cold on them both the last couple of years. I'll checkout Freiburger on YouTube and see how that goes. While I have also enjoyed the many different people that did the shows, I hope they all land on their feet and find a new niche going forward. There have been many changes in this world and the business of presenting automotive based subject matter. Call me old fashion, but I mis all of the old automotive magazine that I used to subscribe to and while I do look at many related things on the internet, the printed stories and pictures are still my preferred source of information.
  14. Like this guy. The city is the one that should be on trial for not taking action on the potholes.
  15. Another great looking patina finish. A lot of extra little details here. The more you look the more you see them. Like the cloth bed side curtains.
  16. Very crusty looking finish. Like the chassis and interior details.
  17. Like the patina finish and the overall look. These types of builds make me smile.
  18. Beautiful paint color and finish. Cleanly detailed.
  19. Beautiful looking paint color and finish. Personally like the Magnum wagons, always wondered what it would look like with some wood trim.
  20. Great looking shade of blue. Like the clean body trim and the wheels.
  21. Great looking body work and paint.
  22. Might try some setting solution on the decals to see if they will lay down. They look like they will always be a flat finish unless you clear everything.
  23. Tamiya Finish polish might be a consideration as well.
  24. Years ago, and recently divorced I had the fender and door of a new Camaro kicked in while parked in front of where I was living. Could never prove it but would have been like her to do it.
  25. Everywhere you look the finishes are beautifully done and very realistic looking. The body color and the shades of the wood portions look like something from that time period.
