They are all very nicely done and the colors and the interiors look perfect together.

Very clean looking build and the fade paint job is perfect for the custom look you were going for.
-
Very clean build and I like the fresh of the showroom look. I'm not sure but I think the wood trim was a dealer type ad on.

This just what a car looks like if it's left outside in those Michigan winters. Well done and welcome to the forum. I foresee many great builds in you future, please keep sharing with us.

Very creative. I enjoyed watching your build morph and change colors.

That has to be one of the nicest '57 Fords I have seen in a long time. Great paint and foil job. The engine really stands out with the extra detailing. That color really is nice.
-
That engine is a big improvement over the kit's engine. If and when I build a Rabbit I would get this same engine.

This is a great kit, but as you are finding out this is a very old tool and one of the down sides of that is the flash that needs to be trimmed. That Caddy engine can be built with the Super Charger or the 3x2 carb. setup.

Nice padding on the roll bars. I like the adjustable brackets you made for the rear suspension. Vary nice job opening the Trunk, the inside drip railings look very real.

Very impressive looking build. The Resin body looks well done also. I like how you got the Hub Caps put together. I suggestion would be to find some images of a 1:1 Dodge and look at the License Plate mounting area in the Trunk Lid. I think who ever designed this body got the opening in the trunk to small.

Two maybes would be the AMT '57 Chrysler 300. The tires are 1 1/8 diameter and a skinny tread design. They have separate wide white inserts for the tires. The other would be the Moebius Hudson Hornet. The same 1 and 1/8th inch diameter with pad printed wide whites and a slightly wider tread.

I remember building this kit years ago when it was first released. The only issue I can recall was the off set on the wheels. I had a hard time getting them tucked inside of the wheel wells. Part of the problem was that I lowered the front end slightly. Built it in the dark green that was popular at that time and had the interior in very light tan color.

Sinfully good looking build. Great detail work on the interior.

Very nicely done engine. What all do you have planned for the interior ?

I think the second picture is of the same car in the first photo. I is definitely a Chevrolet based on the Hood Vents and the side trim moldings would make it something other than the base model. Cool pictures by the way.

It's supposed to get up to 20 above F. today and the sun is shinning, guess what I'm doing. I just wish the glue would harden so I could finish what I'm working on.

Tuesday I was at the Allergist getting my weekly Distemper shot. This means I'm to wait for a half hour to see if I will have a reaction to the shot. While waiting with the others present for the same reason the daughter of one of the other patients started whining about her phone being slow. The daughter was maybe 12 to 15 years old and was badly in need of entertainment and since the year old magazines were of no interest since it would require reading she was trying to watch videos on her phone. Her mother tried to assure her that when they could recharge the phones batteries she could again be entertained. The daughter continued to whine the entire time. I was able to get the Nurse to allow me to leave about 15 minutes early since I had never had a reaction to the shot before. The Nurse knew why I wanted out of there, she really has the patients of a saint .

Be sure to post your Dash Cam Videos for all to enjoy. Stay warm.

You gotta git your self some of that Flex Steel stuff like you see on TV. HaHa Good luck finding a quality clutch slave cylinder. It may be more expensive but you might consider looking at something from Summit Racing Parts or others for a real metal unit that will not give up in a year or two.

Very nice clean looking builds. I like the Day 2 style of your builds. Looks like you were pretty busy in 2017.

You may have to provide a picture of your wheel and tire combo to help better understand what you're working with. You mention a "chrome mag wheel cover". Is that a hub cap like the Chevelle SS hub caps from the '66 Lindberg kit? Remember when ever you're gluing a chromed part to something else you will need to remove the chrome in the contact area where you are gluing. Is it possible to glue small spacers between the inner wheel and the outer wheel to compensate for the lack of width ?

Thank you. The Buggy is a close copy of one built in the late '60's and was used on the "Fire Roads" in the San Bernardino National Forest. The Olds wasa inspired by a car a friend had years ago.

Beautiful looking build. The paint is outstanding.
-
Great looking interior and I like how you painted the chassis. Look forward to seeing the engine.

Another outstanding conversion. The windshield opening looks somewhat tall in proportion to the side windows to me. Major body work done and when painted you never really notice it, looks like that's the way it always was.
