So typical of business today. The people that work hard at doing the day to day things that keep a business going get nothing. The people responsible for putting the business in the ditch get a bonus. I just don't understand this. Maybe we should given the company a bigger tax break.

It maybe because I want to see it, but the fender emblems appear to me to have a small 409 above the crossed fags.

They were done to stiffen the floor boards. Like any large flat metal surface without the ribs the metal will flex and even make a booming sound under certain conditions. The ribs actually add strength to the floor boards.

Looks like you're off to a good start. A thought on your photos. I would try to avoid placing your model or any part of it on or near carpeting. The plastic seems to easily build static electricity and it will attract minuscule fibers from the carpet. You usually don't realize how much until you try and paint your project. A lesson learned the hard way.

Very clean looking build. Sadly GM only offered that color for one year. I always thought it looked great. I think it looks best with the White interior as you built it.

Nice save on the Camaro. The '58 Impala is a good kit, just take your time with the doors as they are kind of fiddly to get lined up.

Not to sure about the Level 5 rating. I understand that Revell has changed their method. The earlier issue that I have is #85-7679 that was listed as a Thunderbolt Street Machine and is listed as a Level 2. From my personal experience, and what I have seen from other builders on the forum, it is a very good kit with several building options and not a difficult one to build. As for the 7 hours. I usually have that much time in test fitting various assemblies and body prep. I have know idea what you have in mind for your build but I think you will enjoy this kit. Maybe you will share your build on the forum.

I reran Ace's provided YouTube video a couple of times. I also noticed what appears to be someone standing on the top of the bridge when it failed. The image is on the left hand side and may take more than one viewing to notice even in slow motion.

I see they are having difficulties with the video feed ?? Please keep an eye on this. Your information seems far more accurate than anything I can find in the "Main Stream Media".

I'll have to remember your idea on cutting the Fish Mouth for may next build.

The trim is very faint on the body and is easily missed. I think the 1:1 Suburban would have been a thin rubber gasket around the windows. Since I wanted this to look like a more upscale trim I went ahead and used foil around the side windows since I thought it looked nicer. Thank you for your interest.
