  1. Beautiful little hot rod Gary ! The combination of parts used plus your choice of colors make it a very clean period correct "T" . Great job !
  2. Great idea Ray , it looks good ! Having built crates to ship Cobra kits I can say that you're actually on target . The entire floor of the crate is actually a large pallet that's completely bolted together (no nails) . The frame would be bolted to the pallet and then the body would be bolted down to the frame . The crate was then built around the body and boxes of parts would be packed in and around the body , probably some tie down straps added , and the crate would be shipped by a private carrier such as Reliable transport . No way it would survive going commercial freight .

This is one of my favorites too , maybe my all time favorite , great seeing it again !!
  4. I like that ! Great idea and great execution !
  5. Looks like you got the nose figured out , angling the grille openings in the center is very much like a Firebird and makes it instantly recognizable as a Pontiac . Also the headlight placement really finishes it off . I don't recall seeing the rear of the roof and window opening before but I'd say you've nailed that too , I always have trouble with that on wagon conversions . Looking forward to seeing this one Under Glass !
  6. Looks good , and it survived a Cat Attack !
  7. Great looking Camaro , nice work !
  8. Nice one Ray ! And you're correct , the AMT chassis is almost perfect for the Kyosho body . There's always this 1/24 Snap Kit , not very good as kits go but the body looks good and it fits the Monogram chassis ! It has the sloped roofline like CSX2287 . Here's the Lindberg and Kyosho side by side , the Kyosho is a better detailed body . It looks wider in the photo but it's just the camera angle .
  9. Another gorgeous build Steve , the Bonnevilles have always been a favorite of mine ! The outdoor pics are beautiful and they do almost show the true color .

  12. That's nice ! I really like that color !
  13. It's not a clone , it's an original '64 Little T . Here's what it looked like when I started . The cheater slicks were made by cutting grooves in the kit tires with a razor saw .
  14. It sits just right and looks great with those wheels and tires , beautiful work !
