  1. I've always enjoyed this thread so after being dormant for 4+ years I figured it was time to revive it again . I'll start it with some pics of my current project , a '71 Petty Roadrunner . Next is a 383 in the MPC '71 Roadrunner . The last one is a 283 in my '60 El Camino . I was sure I already posted it but after going thru 10 years of posts I couldn't find it so here it is (again?) .
  2. Beautiful work John , that's really nice ! Lowering the ride height makes a huge difference and the P.E. wipers are excellent !
  3. Great looking version of the Fruit wagon , well done !
  4. Nicely done David , I like the one color idea !
  5. That looks really nice , well done Snake ! Not bad at all for a diecast but we really could use a '67 kit from somebody . . . maybe I'll gave it a shot .
  6. I think it's beautiful , excellent work Dave ! I also plan on trying some of that paint , thanks for the explanation of what you did .
  7. Thanks Daniel ! Thanks much Jason ! Thank you Stephen ! Thanks very much Pierre ! I thought about that so I took lots of photos !
  8. Lookin' great Steve ! Been wanting to build this version for a while and your tips will help .
  9. I think you did an excellent job considering what you started with and it's your first attempt at one of these kits , if I was judging I'd vote for it ! Nice job detailing your experience too , it's worth bookmarking for future reference . All of the MPC kits are generic in nature (except for the bodies) and are terrible , but they do look good on the shelf .
  10. Nice one Bob ! I'd be happy with that too , it sits just right !
  11. Well done Lei , excellent job on them both !
  12. Very very nicely done ! I really love the cars from this time period .
  13. The chassis is finished and up on all fours ! Now I can get to work on the body . . . the end is in sight !
  14. Yep that's very very Old School Cool ! Great job Scott !
  15. Well done Joe , that's a sharp looking Cougar ! Everything takes a little practice , you're doing just fine .
  16. Well done , that's a sharp looking Camaro ! Great colors too !
  17. Wow you gotta be one proud Dad ! And to Sadie : " Congratulations Sadie , that's one fine looking model ! No one would ever guess it's your very first , I was building for years before I did anything that nice !"
  18. Great to see you back at it Andy ! That's a sharp looking Willys , I've got one of these kits and may just give it a try soon .
  19. Another beauty Bob ! Great looking car and in a great color !

  24. Great looking car , nicely done Jason ! LeeRoy is often forgotten about , he was a great racer !
  25. Thanks you Jim , I appreciate that ! It's kind of subjective . . . I feel some of my simpler builds are much cleaner and look nicer .
