  1. Great looking race car Mike ! I love the old graphics , they really say something unlike the rolling billboards they have now .

  5. COOOL ! Love that paint job ! Funny how some colors just don't like their picture taken .
  6. I finished this one a couple of weeks ago and finally had time to take some photos . The last NASCAR kit I built was back in the early 70's when I built some of the MPC kits so this was basically all new to me . I hinged the hood and trunk and added a bunch of details to the engine and interior , most of which will never be seen again so I added a few extra photos at the end of this post . Paint is Tamiya TS-23 Light Blue cleared with TS-13 . Overall a really nice kit , too bad it was such a limited run . All comments are welcome , thanks for looking !

  23. One of the most useful tips I've seen in a long time ! Great idea Greg and with a little creativity like both you and Steve did almost any type of handle could be made . THANKS !
  24. Moving right along . . . I finished the front by masking the bumper and spraying the grille , applying decals punched from white decal paper , then adding the number decals . As I suspected most of the screen detail is lost in the paint and shadows . Also the lower grille and spoiler are now glued in place . I didn't glue these parts to the body before paint so it would be easier to detail them . Here's the rear spoiler I made , very hard to get a good photo of it . I decided not to clear the body yet , instead I foiled the windshield and rear window frames and applied all of the decals and trim pieces . Now I'll let the decals set overnight and then spray some clear .
  25. Thanks JC , this is all stuff is all new to me !
