  4. That's very realistic looking , cool kit !
  5. This is what we call a "Deal's Wheels Never Was" . It's a Jimmy Flintstone Resin body with chrome parts from a Revell '66 Pickup kit . After enlarging the rear wheel openings and some paint I mounted the body on an old Deal's Wheels chassis , added the chrome , and printed a few decals for it . The front wheels and caps are from the pickup truck kit while I made the larger rears myself . I also fabricated the roof rack and surfboards . The finishing touch was to modify some Silly Surfer vinyl figures to be the Surf-burban owners ! I really had some fun with this one , hope you all like it ! This is the resin shorty body . . . not sure what it was originally intended for . More pics . . . thanks for looking !
  6. Great start Craig ! Good to hear you got the Blue Lines figured out . Switching the seats is a very smart move. . . when I painted mine it took 3 or 4 coats of white to cover the black then I painted the yellow . . . a real pain !
  7. Thanks much Claude ! I guess I lucked out finding one when I did .
  8. My favorite too , very well done ! All three of them turned out great !
  9. Well done , that's one sharp looking car !
  10. Nice one John ! Love those colors , your paint and foil look near perfect !
  11. I've been working on this body for about a year and it's close enough to start adding the window and bed rail trim . It still needs some work on the wheel openings and I haven't even started the interior , pickup bed , or tailgate and taillights yet . It will be painted Dark Jade Green with Gold stripes , Rays Kits printed some gold decals for me last year but for this mockup I just printed some black stickers . I was hoping to have it finished this year but now it's looking like next spring .
  12. Thanks very much Tony ! Thanks James !
  13. Very very nicely done Ray ! I've looked closely at ordering one and have to agree that it's probably over priced , but so is every thing today . I can understand you moving on , I've been thinking about it a lot myself lately . Good luck to you !
  14. If you're using Windows press Shift+F12 .
  15. Donald was the boy friends name on the TV show "That Girl" . I prefer to address members by their real name and since you don't give yours (required by forum rules) I decided to improvise .
  16. Well done Mario ! I agree with you this is a very well done kit , it doesn't get enough credit .
