  1. Thanks for following along Pierre ! I did them both pretty quick and just got lucky , usually it takes several attempts . Thanks Scott ! Another update coming soon .
  2. Following this one , I'd love to find any kit of a Lola GT !
  3. The differential cooler in the kit seemed undersized to me and lacking detail so I made a new one , also made a screen for the underside of the chassis . Next I tried making a window net using some stainless wire and Crepe Chartpak Tape . After laying the tape and trimming the ends I sprayed it with a light mist of DullCote . Being my first attempt at this I'm pretty happy with the results . Thanks for looking !
  4. Very sharp Camaro , well done Jeremy !
  5. Thanks Bill ! The axle locations are all found too , re-aligning them was pretty straight forward and makes a huge difference .
  6. That Gloss Aluminum looks great , will make a really sharp looking car when finished !
  7. That Alclad candy sure is a pretty paint , great job !
  8. Pretty cool Darryl ! I like that you build your own the way you want , great work !
  9. After a couple weeks off I started back on this build yesterday . First order of business was to add that headrest ! There's a few other details I want to add to the interior starting with an electronics panel with the early type ignition boxes . This is tiny and hard to get the details right but it won't be very visible later so not a big deal . That's all I managed yesterday , should have another update later this week .
  10. Thanks Trevor !
  11. Very cool looking Hornet , love the paint and the flames !
  12. Great job Scott , that's a great looking pair ! I couldn't build one in two weeks , two would take me a couple months !
  13. Sharp looking Camaro , really like blue/silver and the redline tires ! Great work John !
  14. I built one of the originals many many MANY moons ago and it does make a nice looking tanker when finished . Don't remember what was involved but a little tweaking of the interior floor/seats part and I was able to assemble and paint the body in one piece then install the floor afterward . I'm sure you can work some magic and blow everybody away and your next meeting !
  15. That's a sharp looking convertible , well done !
  16. It's a tough kit but yours turned out great ! Really like the colors and it sits perfectly , great job !
  17. Thanks Larry ! Thanks Bob ! I thought the same thing but after a couple of days I decided to take a break from my other projects and give it a try . Thanks much Gustavo !
  18. Beautiful Nova and some excellent detailing , well done !
  19. Thanks Craig ! I hope they do to ! Thanks Chris ! Thanks much Carl !
  20. Looks great so far Bob ! Good call on the tailgate (why open it?) and using the 348 from the kit , one of the nicest available !
  21. That's pretty cool and I like that you went with a six for a base Camaro ! You've done some excellent detailing and it's perfect in white/red , great job ! Yes there was a Yenko before all the HiPo cars were built . . . love the dealer tag on the back !
  22. Absolutely beautiful Andy ! Nicest I've ever seen , great work !
  23. Thanks Mario ! Same here with the Torino . It's another step that I've added when fitting parts on all my builds . Thanks much John ! Thank you David ! I've seen others and they just don't look right with the tires not centered . Thanks very much David !
  24. Enter it , she's a real beauty !! Well done !
  25. Thanks Lee ! The turned Gold decals are from Speedway Decals . Thanks Peter ! It would be nice to get these tires in a separate pack or a different kit . I don't like the white top (I think Barris did that) or the dark tan so I tried an Ivory color , maybe could be a little darker . Don't know why MPC made the decals so large back then , seems it could have been corrected sometime over the years . The ones I used were from Speedway Decals .
