  1. Beautiful work Rich , I really like the look of the polished plastic on some of these older kits ! Your detailing/foil is excellent ! How do you do the scripts - emblems - door handles - etc . . . ?
  2. Never seen one of these kits before , very cool ! Thanks for posting it !

    59 El Camino

That's one sharp looking El Camino , very well done ! 1959 and '60 El Camino's are my all time favorite having owned a couple of both . My avatar is one of my 60's .
  4. Thanks David ! Fun and quick , that's unusual for me ! Thanks much Scott !
  5. Thanks Much John , I appreciate it !
  6. Thanks Mark ! Thanks Peter ! Thanks Ray !
  7. While searching for something quick and easy I came across a box with several of those small Weird-Ohs figures that I had bought years ago and thought Digger might fit into a Li'l Red Baron , and that's how "Li'l Digger" was conceived . I modified the LRB by replacing the front axle and tires with parts from a Roarin' Rail with clear plastic wheels and I made decals for the spokes . The rear wheels are the LRB pieces with the centers replaced with Screamin' Vette centers , and the backs of the tires were blocked off and the shoulders rounded . The engine was pieced together from my parts stash . The figure was modified to fit and sprayed with DullCote then his helmet was repainted yellow and Digger's fingers were reshaped to better grab the shifter . By the way that shifter ball is a 10mm acrylic bead , I had to buy 250 of them so if anybody wants some let me know !
  8. Not sure if that will ever happen which is why I decided to pay for these . I bet if any more sets pop up on Ebay they'll be priced even higher !
  9. That's one nice looking Model A Coupe , beautifully done Alan !

  12. Here's a few of what I've picked up over the summer , they are all new/complete and the Cougar is still sealed ! I built all these as a kid so it's really nostalgia that made be buy them again , at pretty decent prices too . I do plan on building them all except the nomad , that one I just really like the box art . Got these a couple weeks ago on Ebay . A seller had several of them but they were kinda pricey so I just bought two sets .
  13. I'd buy this one in a heartbeat !
  14. Beautiful '55 Jim ! That color is really sharp and the interior upgrades are something I'd do in real life !

  18. Stephen , Ron passed last year but this build thread shows what looks to be the kit decals . https://drasticplastics.proboards.com/thread/6242/amt-chaparral-2a While Ron never had a chance to build the 2E he did build the Arii 2C kit . . .
