  1. Very well done Alan , your changes improve the looks of the original design without changing it ! The wheels & tires and windshield are a big improvement over the Monogram parts and I really like the bed and tailgate idea !

    Casey??

He's still selling on Ebay . . . looks like the last positive feedback was left on Aug 15, 2022 .
  3. Thanks Mike ! Thanks very much Rich ! I've never been a regular in this section either but there's so great stuff being posted here ! Thanks very much Ken !
  4. Very well done Dennis , that's a beautiful truck ! Is the tailgate "FORD" paint or a decal ?
  5. I agree Scott , the Chaparral's were beautiful looking race cars ! By the way , we lost Ron (FordRodnKustom) a year ago on July 14 , 2021 . Gone but not forgotten .
  6. Neat concept and very nicely executed , great job !
  7. In spite of all the issues it definitely is a decent looking build , in fact I think it looks really nice as a base model Sebring ! Really like the overall look and the Root Beer Brown paint is beautiful !
  8. Some nice work done so far and that engine compartment is a much needed and great improvement !
  9. Thanks Eric ! I've seen a '70 done too , that gave me the idea for doing this one . Thanks Doug ! I guess the manufacturers at the time thought the El Camino was a better seller . Thanks much Hector !
  10. Beautiful truck Rich ! Your trim work and detailing are super nice , very well done ! I understand why you use putty to attach the mirror , I feel the same way . For mirrors -wipers-etc... I always use Detail Tack from Micro Mark , it stays sticky when dry so parts can be repositioned easily . The '62 is one of the nicest looking trucks from this era , this kit needs to be reissued .
  11. Great color Bob , it looks great ! Just shows that a little humidity shouldn't stop you , it's always around 70% here during the summer but it gets much higher at times . I spray in the garage then immediately move the body into the air conditioning and place it on a table under a ceiling fan so the air is circulating as it dries , works every time !
  12. Absolutely gorgeous wagon ! Your trim work and detailing is exceptionally nice , very well done !
  13. Great looking old Chevys Helmut , excellent work ! These years are too often overlooked , nice to see some built !
  14. Really sharp looking Jeep , excellent detailing !
  15. Thank you very much Tony ! I've got everything I need for the '79 and will probably start it before the end of the year . Thanks Larry ! Thanks you Helmut , I appreciate that !
  16. Great progress on this one Sonny ! The stance looks just right , I like your solution for the rear shackles and lowering the front !
  17. Really sharp looking truck Chuck ! GMC should have built these , I would have bought one !
  18. Thanks Scott ! Thanks very much Claude ! Thank you Ryan !
  19. Wow that's really nice ! I've never seen that utility box before , and your detailing is superb . Well done !
  20. Good looking Cyclone Scott , despite the issues it turned out great ! I'm a bit surprised that it sits so high built out of the box , along with the bumper mounting issues I guess it's no different than any other kit . I've bought most of the Moebius kits but still haven't built one , thanks for the info .
  21. Great looking Beetle ! Nice choice of color and I love the teardrop trailer !
  22. Thanks much Robert ! Along with the El Caminos I also did a 72 Ranchero years ago but it needs rebuilding , it's also on my To Do list along with the '79 Ranchero . Thanks Eric ! Thanks very much Carl for following along !
  23. The street rod version is cool but I really like the police version ! Something about the stock look of a '27 Tub , it's so nice and clean .
  24. Looks pretty good to me Scott ! I've learned that the early Revell kits require much more patience than I had as a kid and barely even now . I have one of these and an Orange Crate that I've been staring at for a couple years now , maybe I'll try the dragster first . Never seen the Revell glue before , how does it work ? Is it like a contact cement ?
  25. I don't think I've ever called a police vehicle this but yours definitely is beautiful ! Excellent paint and detailing , it looks exactly like the ones in the photo .
