  1. Having spent most of my working career in a Ford Dealership, what pissed me off was that the parts people that have any knowledge were put on the customer counter and the green ones were put on the tech counter. when I went to get any parts I had to tell them what the part numbers were or it would be hours till I got them. I don't know how many parts counter people I trained over the years lol.
  2. Those front wheels are in the AMT Piranha kit.
  3. Two Very Nice 67 Camaro's!!
  4. After 40 plus years as Ford mechanic I laugh at those pocket sized scan tools that will give a code and what part to replace. I wish I had a dollar for every time a customer wanted a part replaced and it didn't fix the problem, it usually turned out be wiring or something else, for example code said to replace a transmission shift solenoid but the band was broken. We tried to not use aftermarket parts as we found OEM fit and very seldom got defective parts.
  5. You knocked another out of the park
  6. During the late 70's we had a guy with a 67 GTX with a tilt front end and a very healthy 440 cruising the street. The following spring he showed up with a fully chromed engine, we only saw it out that one night as the chrome peeled off the internal surfaces and plugged the oil pump pickup and seized the engine and couldn't afford to repair it that year.
  7. Totally agree with you on missing side windows but if the drivers door glass is missing and there's no driver in the car its not ready to run so I would forgive that. On a couple of hot days with long staging lanes I have been reminded to put it up.

  19. I know what you mean I'm in Canada. Getting something ends up costing a lot due to the difference in the dollar and the extra postage costs and now we also have the tariffs.
