I'd definately buy two or three. My father in law is always asking if I've ever built a Tucker kit. I'd love to see and build one before he's gone.

I missed that one. Which issue is that article in. Might be news for my wife. Cuda's are one of her favorite cars.

Here in Wisconsin, there are a couple of plates for tractors. There is a regular plate (blue w/black #'s) that allows a truck to travel within the state only. Then there is an apportioned plate (white w/red #'s) which allows a truck to travel outside of the state. Of course, all trucks must have a interstate fuel sticker and DOT annual inspection sticker too. Don't forget your road number for the tractor and one for the trailer too. The company I worked for used the last four numbers of the VIN # for their tractors and trailers. I haven't seen interstate sticker plates or muli-plated trucks in years except on models.

Has anyone watched the show Ultimate Factories? There was one episode on building these cars...more like crafting. Talk about personal service. You work with a consultant in a studio that has samples of paint, leather, wood, and other touches they can offer to put in a car. Definately not like going down to your local Chevy dealership and ordering a car out of a pamplet or off the lot.

I was suprised at that. They're each in a different language. Makes the box seem heavy when you first pick it up.

This kit looks like a re-issue as mentioned before. The donk kit had a different interior, suspension, and tires/rims.

@Doc-I might try to aquire a set of tires and the Kelsey Hayes rims from that new Moebius Chrysler kit. Although, they might be too skinny.

Been waiting for this one for some time. Need to find some non-lowrider wire rims and white wall tires though. The rest of the hydro junk will go bye-bye too.

Just pays to do your homework when considering an investment. You'd better know what you're looking at before you slap down that check or cash. Personally, I don't mind if someone makes a clone, tribute, or whatever you want to call it...just so long as the seller doesn't try to pass it off as "the real deal". I'd consider buying a well done clone, knowing it IS a clone, because the car I want is waaaaayyyy out of my price range thanks to collectors with deep pockets.

Looking good so far....love the "Plain Jane" look of steelies too.

I built the '64 GTO, but haven't decided yet if I'll actually enter it. It turned out ok, but I'm not completely happy with it and because of some slight flaws, IMO, it won't place anyway. So, it just may be a completed model for my collection.

Bring the work bench to work! Todays meeting....BORING! Spread out some modeling supplies on the table and get to work. I'd love to see their faces after that!

Got some cheapy bits from Harbor Freight for around $5 or less. Thirty bits ranging from 0.5mm - 3mm. Drill Master item #94606.

I've never been to the show, but planned on going this year. Completely forgot about it of course. Looked like a great show.

I build mostly because I like to. I have entered a few contests in the past and won a few plaques and a ribbon...I'm done with contests. I wouldn't mind seeing one of my models on a magazine cover, but I see much better builds than I can do that deserve it. So, neither is really that important to me as long as I'm happy with the end result.

Check your picture size. There is a maximum size allowed. I had the same problem before myself. I sure Harry will chime in soon here too and explain it better.
