  1. I like that color combo too .
  2. Very nice build.
  3. Nice bright color choice.
  4. Matador looks great. Good move on the larger tail lights.
  5. I always prime so I am not sure what happened. I guess I would ask if you waited between your coats and if they were light coats ? Couple light coats and a couple wet coats ? Humidity ? Two weeks would be enough time for even enamel to dry. Someone should be along to better address your question.
  6. Looks like a "Doom Buggy". : )
  7. Very nice work. Thanks for sharing.
  8. Looks good to me .
  9. Looks good. Can't wait to see it done. All your hard work is paying off.
  10. Very sharp !
  11. Started this kit the other day. I filled the holes in the front fenders for the ornaments. Didn't want to use them. Body and some other parts primed and or painted. The grill has beed dull coated to tone it down. The rear bumper was masked so I could also dull coat the chrome panel above the bumper. I think it looks more realistic. I am also making up some leaf springs for the front because I am toying with the idea of building it "gasser like". I say "gasser like" because I don't want to start the is a gasser, is not a gasser discussion. : ) Don't really want it to represent a true drag car but more of a street machine. I haven't built a Chevy in a long time ( yes I do like them even if I am a Ford man ). I also haven't painted a model green in a long time and yes, this will be green, very green. Thanks for looking and as always comments pro or con are equally welcome.
  12. No question about that !
  13. I vote photoshopped . Sure it's tall but look how long it looks.
  14. Thanks guys, I knew there would be some suggestions here.
  15. Very nice. i'm working on the same car now but it won't look that good.
  16. Killer paint work !
  17. Searched but could not find any info on this subject. As you all know a lot of the older kits had the headlight molded into the grill and bumper and are chromed. I have never really found a good way to fix this. Painting doesn't work. If I drill them out then what do I use as a bucket or the lens ? I know someone here has the answer. Thanks in advance.
  18. What a difference ! That looks much better.
  19. Hey John. In case I have missed something is there a site that I can go to and see all you past builds ? I have caught several that have been in the model magazines but was hoping you have a site with all of them in one place with larger photos than are in the magazines. Love your work. Thanks
  20. You did a great job with that kit.
  21. Wow ! Thats a lot of stuff. Is that a small rear section of a 60 Ford I see ? If so I wonder what happened to the rest of it.
  22. Ya buddy. I think it's 104 here today right now.
