  1. I do sell some of mine on the bay from time to time. I only have room for so much and I need to clear some room from time to time. I don't do it for profit but once in awhile one will strike a cord with a couple people and I do ok. I am happy just to get back enough to pay for another kit and a few supplies.
  2. Simple , I collect Cobra kits . I have about 55 unbuilt ones . Many AMT 1/25 Cobras from different releases but they are all mostly the same . I guess I’m just a Cobra nut . I have north of 750 ( not all are kits ) all sizes and materials . Lots I don’t have and that is one of them .
  3. Was glad to see someone else build one of these. Nice work. Heavy piece of resin is it not.
  4. Thank you Larry.
  5. Its the shipping that is giving me pause. I look forward to your build.
  6. Here is a pic of the AMT one . There are 2 Airfix ones on eBay and one looks good but they are both overseas and I hope to find one in the states . I am tempted to pull the trigger on one of them .
  7. You are so right about San Diego. My daughter went to law school there and then lived and worked there for awhile. Trying to find a place I could get into with me F 150 and then open the doors to get out was a real chore. Seemed like the parking spots were made for Mini Coopers.
  8. It is the same. There is also an AMT branded kit which is also the same. Good score on the Airfix one , I have been searching for one complete for a long time.
  9. Nicely done with great weathering.
  10. Thanks much fellows. Yes Jim it is. I buy it on Amazon but an auto store that carries the Duplicolor line should have it if you want to try it.
  11. The model turned out great ! Nice work.
  12. I have found that the parking lots are one of the most dangerous places to drive. At least around here.
  13. Thanks guys. Yes Jim, I am quite happy with the Duplicolor 1K clear.
  14. Seeing as my first car was a 62 Ford I am very interested in your project.
  15. Thanks fellows. Not perfect but in building well over 50 years I never had one yet !
  16. Awhile ago I bought 3 glue bomb Shelby Cobras on ebay . I have finished two . The third was little more than a body so as I have already shown I decided to make a long nose Cobra since I did have a spare body . That left me with two body sections . So I was playing around and thought why not put those two pieces together ? Just playing around for now and I don’t know if anything will come of this . It may be best it does not .
  17. Well done !
  18. I bought this printed body I saw on the bay and thought it was cool . While I was sanding it smooth I was trying to decide what chassis I could use underneath it . I had another project I wanted to start so I decided just to make this a slammer with a simple pan for a chassis. Tires from the parts box as is steering wheel , seat and decals as well as the roll bar . Paint is Tamiya Pearl Yellow fade to Tamiya Pearl Green . Clear was Duplicolor 1K . I added aluminum tubes as exhaust dumps . I put about a one inch crack in the body when I drilled the first hole . Pretty fragile stuff it seems .
  19. Very nice, well done !
  20. Wow, that looks great ! So happy to see you put drivers in the cars.
  21. Hey Bob, that turned out great ! You just need to hook up a car in disrepair ??
  22. I agree with Bob, great looking van with a smooth paint job.
  23. Looks good , one of my favorite cars.
