  1. Hey Richard. I got the decals on ebay. I dont recall who they were from. There was a sheet with about 8 different names on them. Search Gasser Decals and they may pop up. If I can find them again I will let you know.
  2. I really like this simple kit . Third or fourth I have done . So far I just the body has been worked on . Painted Testors Purple with marbleizer on the roof and resin hood scoop . Still needs the trim done . I used Duplicolor 1 K clear .
  3. Very nice, I like it. I could never get out of it but that would not be a problem because I couldn't get in it in the first place.
  4. Thanks guys. Yes Dave I believe they are your decals. I ordered them long before I built the model but I am almost positive they are yours.
  5. I hope we can all enjoy our life. We just never know how much time we have. Model building is good for hand and eye coordination and helps keep the mind sharp so we live longer ! That's what I tell my wife anyway.
  6. After it is fixed I wonder if he will try again?? I guess not !
  7. It's not bad Chris. Body is already primed, some parts like engine is painted. Some optional parts. I didn't like that the windows on the doors were riveted in place so I drilled out the rivets so I could paint better without having to mask. The frame is metal and painted a gloss black. The front axle was already mounted as were the front tires. The steering works. Rear end was mounted already also. Drivers seat already has fabric seat belts applied. Choice of engines with different headers blowers and scoops. Lots of small parts that are bagged and numbered. Front wheels shown on box are not in the kit but rather a nice set of 5 spokes which I like better anyway. A year or so ago I bought the Fiat drag car kit but never got it assembled. No instructions of any kind and ended up using parts to modify a die cast Cobra into a drag car.
  8. Looks good. I have been using the Duplicolor 1K clear on the last two models and I really like it.
  9. Thank you Bob. The kits are cheaper and more fun ! I paid 98 bucks plus shipping for my kit.
  10. Your right about the chute line but I just used the holes that were in the body already.
  11. Thank you very much Larry and Philippe.
  12. This kit is metal and plastic . Because the die cast section does not include a WIP I thought it may be OK here . If not please move . Main body is metal but front end is plastic . Frame and engine block also metal . Some painting and assembly is done but not all . Body is primed but I had to prime the plastic hood section . The doors had the windows riveted in so I had to drill them out so I could remove them for painting . Only on the first page but already came across two parts shown in the directions but not part of the kit . Kit was new so these parts just not included . So I made them . Two engines and transmissions are included as are a choice of wheels . Not sure of color but it will be two tone I think .
  13. Ya that's the one ! What a cry baby he was. What did he think would happen ? I record the show and watch it when my wife goes to bed and I can't find anything better.
  14. I like it. Some guy messed up a 90,000 dollar Tesla on the one i watched last night. More money than sense ?
  15. Looks good. I don't think they are the least bit ugly.
  16. Thank you Bob .
  17. That is one killer V Dub !
  18. Anyone watching this fairly new show on Discovery ? It’s like guys running their own cars on a course with chase cars after them . It’s like PAC Man with cars .
  19. That is very cool !
  20. Great looking model.
  21. Yes, thank you and yes to your great looking truck.
  22. Did anyone mention the Eddie and the Cruisers movies ? There was 2. Mostly about a band trying to make it. I thought the movies were OK but I really enjoyed the songs.
  23. That is one great looking Mustang !
