I have been working on the engine and chassis while waiting for a cd a member was sending me . I figured that this was probably the same for all versions of this car . I have held off on the body but will be starting that as soon as I view the cd which will show me the direction I want to go .

Just sold this one on the bay this past week.

If your talking about the film you can buy and not where you put paint on the water....I looked into it a while ago buy could not find any prints that were "in scale" for a model car.

I think they could all benefit with painting the interior and a tire/wheel upgrade. Just one mans opinion.

I do have the Trumpeter kit that I have not started yet. Do we think/know that the Meng kit won't be better ? Perhaps I will wait for a review till I plunk down my money. Seems like reviews on the Trumpeter kit really are not all that good.

This kit is giving me a few problems with fit. The instructions suck IMO but will get it together at some point. I have been working on the engine and chassis figuring that I would save the body and interior till I got a CD which was sent to me by a member here. Thanks Gary ! I now have that and I am sure that will help guide me through the rest of this project. I don't think I will be able to use the pre wired dist. I bought as it looks like it may be too large and possibly not fit under the hood.

Costs about double what some others go for but it does look very nice.

Thanks again . If you look at the box for the white car you really can’t see the vents . You mentioned that at some point they were taped off . I went through my instructions and parts and found these things that I did not know what they were for . Not shown in the instructions but after I looked more closely at the text I discovered that sometimes these cars ran in the rain and that the vents caused a problem . Sure enough these white pieces are to seal up the vents if you want . I will use them as a last resort if I screw up the other two vents I need to build .
