    Info I found says 3 were built and none were ever used. First one sank like a rock but the guys inside all survived.

    Thanks to you and this project and the fact that I had one years ago I just ordered this kit from Hobby Lobby. Looks like I may build another model and not a Cobra ! I blame you ! Very interested in your progress.

    Planking done but still much to do . Looks more like a wooden football than a submarine . Still needs to be varnished as well as other things .

    Thanks Bill . I needed a simple style kit to work on if my Russian wooden sub kit I am working on now gets any tougher . I may need a break from the sub .

    Finished this little barrel that comes with the kit . Doesn’t look like it but it is made up of 32 pieces. This barrel was attached to a hose and floated on top of the water to supply air to the men in the sub .

    Got another pretty simple wooden boat kit to work on at some point .
