  1. Looks great Walter.
  2. Thank you Jeremy .
  3. My favorite Vette of all time. Never got one closest I got was a 1980 which wasn't close at all !
  4. Some of you may have read my story about these kits in The What Did You Get Today ? If not I will give you a short version . Many years ago when these kits were new on the shelf my BIL and his wife ( my sister ) had a building contest , can’t recall why . My sister passed away several years ago and my BIL about two months ago . My nephew Jerry called me one day wanting to know if I remember this . He did not recall which kits because he was pretty young at the time . I told I did recall that and I knew his dad built the Beer Wagon but not the other . It sparked something in him and he said Paddy Wagon , she built the Paddy Wagon . I thought he was right . Anyway , he asked if I could find those kits and build them for him . I said sure of coarse . EZ to find on eBay . Found both kits still wrapped . 130 with shipping . He asked if I could build them as they did . No spray paints and just a few colors of bottle paints . Here is the result . I did cheat a bit by using Molotow on the chains and coated the bodies with Future . Then I decided I just didn’t want to hand them to him so I bought this garage diorama on Amazon for about 60 bucks . I like it a lot and really adds to the presentation . He will be very happy . This was a short version ??? Sorry Still need to install the light source which is included .
  5. Still going to be here looking at all the great models I just don't have the building Mojo any more. Out of space and not wanting my wife and daughter to be stuck with any more stuff than I already have. ?
  6. I started out thinking out , poor Cobra, then I read where it said people were killed. Cars can be replaced, people no. Sorry for the loss of life.
  7. Well it will be a lot cooler for you then !
  8. Just these two for my nephew and the Agoura Cobra and then calling it quits.
  9. Some of you may recall that a couple weeks ago I said after I build my Agoura Shelby Cobra I would be done building . That was true at the time . But I got a call from my nephew a bit over a week ago asking me if I recall his dad ( my BIL ) and my sister each building a model many years ago ? I did and mentioned I recall his dad building the Beer Wagon but not the other . The mention of the Beer Wagon sparked his memory that my sister built the Paddy Wagon . Then he posed a question . If I was willing and could find those two kits would I build them . How could I say no ? My sister passed away about 7 years ago and my BIL just a few weeks ago . My nephew said this was important to him . Finding the kits was easy . Found both on eBay still sealed . Paid about 130 for both with shipping . Nephew would like them built as they did back then . No painting the bodies and only bottle paints for the details . I was given a little leeway to use some spray paints if I thought it was needed . So I will put my Cobra aside and work on these . The Paddy Wagon was the first and only model my sister ever built . So I guess I lied . I will still be building at least for a bit .
