Thanks, Anton man! Here's some more progress on the body......... Working on the trim, now. There's supposed to be more black trim around the side windows, but I couldn't figure out how to do it cleanly, so I just skipped it...... Hope you guys enjoy! Please comment freely.......

Ganja is kinda harmful in some ways, but soooooooo helpful in others.....

I can't help but think that the color I painted this Impala is very close to what's on the Imposter! It's DupliColor Bronze Wheel Coating. I bet you could test it over different bases and get the color spot-on!

I've gotten a newer computer recently, and had no way of showing the pics of my progress. I've gotten a memory card reader today, so I'll attempt to post the paint job that I've given this...... I've only seen one of these cars in green, I kinda like the way it turned out. Thanks for lookin' in, and comment freely!

Snickers ice cream in the tub by Breyers is really good, but nothing beats the Snickers ice cream bars.

Why are decals lifting off after application?

Are you sure you aren't using the solutions in reverse order? I would think the Microset would go on before the decal..... The Microsol, I think, is to snuggle the decal down after it's dried...... I've read that the Microsol can wrinkle the decals and make it look like they're ruined. I guess that's how it works, softens the decal so it will conform to the surface..... -

JC Reckner (afx here on the forum) hasn't been on in about 6 weeks. He's one of the better builders here. Anyone have any idea what happened to him? I know he's a MAMA member, maybe someone in that club knows?

I don't know if there is anything like it in the automotive repair shops, but when I was a house painter, most places that mixed paints had a type of color reader that showed what colors were needed to achieve the target color.......... It just read a sample. Maybe there is an auto repair shop near you that could read the paint on the model and mix you a small bit from that?

Association with model builders can either spawn creativity, or lead to insanity!

Do you shoot a lot of metallics? Is it possible that the particles from the paint are adhered somehow to the barrel inside?

Hello, guys! I have been asking questions about what will be a project hopefully soon...... The Coyote X supercar. I'll need to source the wheels, somehow. They're the Champ wheels from the '80s (they look like my avatar pic!). Were these available at all in a kit? The ones on the Coyote are super deep, and staggered, I think........ Seems the rears are wider. I could possible sleeve a kit wheel to get the depth, if they were ever in a kit........ Thanks for any help!
