Hey, Fellas.... Thought I would show the progress on my latest project! It's the Viper GTS from AMT.... I got it in a trade with a really cool guy on here. In some ways this kit seems a little better than the Revell kit. The only thing lacking on this kit is the wheels and tires. The rims look too small and the tires have too much sidewall. I'll most likely try to source another set of wheels somehow..... The idea behind this build is a used viper that had been gutted and turned into a track car. Here's the engine! I need to go over the manifolds again with another wash, it looks like..... Here's the start on the chassis. The floors and all will be painted white to kinda represent bare metal. It was kind of nerve wracking gluing those black painted suspension parts on to the white chassis, using orange tube glue! I'm thinking maybe a dark red color for the main body parts, not sure yet..... This is where I'm at with this. Please feel free to comment, and thanks for looking.....

It's a very cool car to have gotten! If I'm not mistaken, these have dual rear shocks and 4 wheel disc brakes. Also, the 8.8 rear! When the turbocoupe was first debuted (in 1983) they raced one against a contemporary BMW on Laguna Seca......... The Bimmer could barely keep up.

I really like the "I Robot" album from Alan Parsons! The song 'I wouldn't want to be like you' is from the viewpoint of a robot..... The whole album is based on that concept.....

Sam Barris was the one with the eye for design..... This is his '50 Buick. It doesn't get much better as far as kustoms go!

Here's another one I enjoy a lot. Loverboy's "Turn Me Loose"....... There's a bunch of really good guitar in this one!

I like to think of the Cardigans as an "ironic" Abba....... They're even both from Sweden. The Cardigans have done a couple of Black Sabbath covers! Iron Man, and sounding really good in Ms. Persson's coo'ing, Sabbath Bloody Sabbath!

I like a bunch of stuff that may would raise eyebrows with some folks. One such group is The Cardigans. I can't get enough of Nina Persson's voice. I didn't know that about the build..... That's interesting, and probably how a lot of extreme kustoms came about. This car isn't QUITE as bad as the Golden Sahara, but is clearly inspired by it. It's Voodoo Larry's "Voodoo Sahara"........ It started out as a Kaiser, I believe....

Nice to see those taillights on what they belong on! Not hard to see why so many kustoms have them........

Les, man.... How many tracks are on GT7? Are they mostly carry overs from the previous ones? All I have at the moment is my little PS2 slim. I had two copies of GT4 but they wouldn't play in my console.... Right now I've got GT3.

I've been kinda reading around online about this. The theory that we are living in an elaborate simulation, like a computer program. Here's the wiki about it.... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Simulation_hypothesis One thing that could be proof of this, is that there is a 'speed limit' in space (the speed of light). The program needs time to 'load', thus the speed limit...... Also, it's said that anything we aren't looking at and can see directly isn't really there at all, which would save on memory. What do you guys think of this?

The "best" as far as being reliable would be the little Mazda GLC hatchback I had. It had a quarter-million miles on it when I finally retired it. I drove that little car all over North Carolina painting houses out of it. It still had the original clutch, the only thing I ever had to replace was the CV axles. The one that I wish I still had would be the fox Thunderbird I drove in High School. It was an '83 I believe. Everyone else wanted the Mustang, (I've had a fox Mustang also), but I liked being 'different'......
