  1. That's a real good find! They've painted the engine bay, though.... It should be body color.
  2. You can see more than just a little '62 Olds Starfire in the front end of a '68 Thunderbird.....
  3. I just checked that out..... Can you draw from scratch, or is it mainly image manipulation software?
  4. I like to both draw with pen/pencil and paper and doodle with the MS Paint program..... I think that hand drawn art is a bit 'warmer' and more organic. Digital art can be a bit cold and distant. I wish I could afford something like Photoshop to draw with, though. Here's a drawing that I did in Paint, I think it evokes a bit of feeling even though it's digital.....
  5. Those were on the 'unplugged' Nirvana album, correct? I had the cassette...... They also covered some Meat Puppets songs on that album! and Bowie, too......
  6. This all looks really good, and will be very much removed from the toy you started with.....
  7. Carl, man, I believe anything is better than Facebook........... I stay on IG a bit, though, it's a whole 'nother experience...
  8. I lurk on here off and on all day, I just never sign in unless I'm posting something.....
  9. Thanks, Anton! They have other colors of wheel coating, also..... One is a nice copper tone.
  10. Sorry, you'll have to click the link. It won't show here as a video for some reason...
  11. One of Les Claypool's side projects..... It gets really good about five minutes in! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OnHib4DDkAU
  12. I'm noticing some quirks with the site, Tom man.... Maybe it's something they need to fix now that the forum is back online. One quirk (not to borrow your topic), is clicking on the last reply taking me to the first page of a thread. We'll just have to be patient until things are 100%.....
  13. Thank you for starting this thread..... this will be very cool to follow!
  14. Gnarls Barkley...... Most of their songs have a definite hip-hop flavor, but they do have some catchy stuff.
  15. Love me some Fu Manchu! Not many people know about them..... This is my favorite of theirs....
  16. The lace is even open on the wheels! This is going to be my next kit purchase. I've heard nothing but good things about it.......
  17. Is this the Fujimi kit? It looks really nice.....
  18. Nice score, Cale..... Would you have to undo a tie rod to install them?
  19. Thank you, guys! I'm kinda proud of this one.....
  20. That's gonna be NICE! Any plans for color?
  21. The Hasagawa '66 Buick has one, then there is this.... https://www.modelroundup.com/Driver-Figures-Mechanics-Figures-p/fujimi-11636.htm
  22. Thank you, fellas! Yea, the '60s Impalas look good no matter what genre build you go with......
  23. In my case, I was a 20 year old working with a house painter's wages. I did fix or replace things as the need arose, but it was difficult finding decent parts.
  24. My old Dodge pickup (which I would love to have today in spite of it's problems). I had a '71 Sweptline short bed with a hot-rodded 318 (with a Quadrajet Chevy carb...). It was manual drum brakes, manual steering, and the wheel had about a half turn of play. I had rebuilt the brakes, and had it to where it wouldn't pull to either side while stopping, but the play made slowing interesting. They make disc brake kits and suspension upgrades for those old trucks that would solve all the issues it had.
