I got a bit of bench time today and did a mock up. I decided to use the 60" sleeper from the ROG KW T600. I'm going to stretch the frame to make it all fit
Haven't done too much this month. Been training drivers and studying for a mixer rodeo. I just about have it ready to do a mock-up and decide if a 36",a 60" sleeper or a daycab is the way to go.
Looking great Richard. Something I found on the 378 that I'm building is that when the sump is at the front of the oil pan,it is right on top of the axle. I reversed the oil pan and it seems to have better clearance.
Thanks for the encouragement Gino and Rob. Clayton, That is a fine looking rig. At the plant where I work it would be impossible to keep it looking good.
I am chevy guy.....all started when my Dad bought a new 56 chev 210 sedan with the power pack 265 and powerglide. I had that car in high school. It was a blast. The first vehicle I owned was a 57 chev pu with a 350 hp 327. I just have stuck with chevys ever since.
Gator: I wish I had some pics, but this was back in the 80's. I never thought to carry a camera. I just heard about the guys doing that. I worked for a paving company and in the summer we rented their trucks when we needed them.
