  1. Awesome... Thanks for the help guys. I'm wanting to make my own stacks for an upcoming Rig build.
  2. Anyone know of any good pipe benders for aluminum and brass tubing? Thanks in advance
  3. Would love to see/ hear how you lowered it. I'm working on this exact kit at the moment and wanting to drop it. Any help would really be great if you're up to it. Van looks amazing. Awesome weathering!!
  4. I have to agree. Revell is a great company for how they handle replacement parts. I was building a charger and the windows where misshapen and had corners missing. Emailed them and within no time had a full tree replacement.
  5. Looks awesome! Would love to see it done...
  6. Thanks Kyle. Sent my mama the link so that she could see the comments as well...
  7. I agree... She did an awesome job on it considering it was her first one in a long time.
  8. This particular model is a very special build. Reason why I say this is because it was built by my mother. I got one of my decal connections (Dig Derange on FB, HIGHLY RECOMMEND) to make the Bumble Bee for her as well as the License Plate. My mom is a beginning modeler... That's awesome to say! lol Here we go... Nothing says Jeep like a trip to the Fishing Lodge: White Jeep is the one I built for my father for Father's Day. Yellow (Bumble Bee) was built by my mother.
  9. Ah okay. I never have that problem, at least from what I can tell. Of course I hardly ever hard accel and if I do Im already moving.
  10. Its really not too bad. Given I dont know much about torque steering but it always feels pretty even to me as far as power delievered. Again, I've probably falsifying the true meaning of torque steer. lol
  11. All of the research I done on the Continental's before I bought gave it amazing reviews. Said they was practically bullet proof provided you kept up with the general maintenance. I absolutely love my car.
  12. Thanks Wayne. And your Towncar is a beauty!! My Lincoln is avg. 18.1 MPG at the moment.
  13. Here's my daily driver. 2002 Lincoln Continental CE (Collector's Edition). Bought it on January 1, 2013. Was purchased with 74,481 on odometer. I often get poked fun at since I'm 23 and driving what is considered a "Senior Citizen" vehicle. That is until the V8 kicks in. People then begin questioning their decision of V6's. I'm kidding... But anyone that does ride with is usually impressed with the power due to the fact that this car weighs 3,800 lbs. On with the pics. I need newer ones as these was taken on Jan. 11. Here's my Cardomain: http://www.cardomain.com/ride/4019545/2002-lincoln-continental/
  14. Hand's down the best place. I have learned so much from this page. I found it before I even start modeling and man did it light a fire under my butt. Normally, I run through hobbies. Pick up a hobby for 2 weeks and become bored. But this page, oh no. This page pushes me to top my last build and try new things. This forum is my new Facebook.
  15. Looking good!! Would love to see how you make those wheels...
  16. No kidding!!! That would have been a serious money pot!! Thanks for the comment Jeff.
  17. Besides soaking Steel Wool in water to create rust, what else do you use the wool for in the modeling world? I just acquired a bunch from my father so I'm open to experiment.
  18. Hope all of our Father's here have a great day. I hope you all understand just how important you are in our lives. You inspire us, motivate us, and we can always count on your light to keep us on the right path. Have a good one!!
  19. That's the plan my good man. Going to be doing a couple of these Jeep builds. Thanks for the comment!
  20. Welcome to MCM!! Glad to see your from Virginia. Also would like to say thank you for your service!
  21. With the Jeep being Curbside, the more I think about the build process the more I really enjoyed the build itself. The parts basically feel together and fit together perfectly. Definitely one of the better models I've had this year.
  22. Thanks Roger!! If one really wanted to step up to it (not me, lack of skill ), could open the hood and cut out the bottom engine section of the chassis and slap a Hemi in it... Just a thought.
  23. Hope so... He'll see Sunday. I did enjoy building this for someone else rather than myself. Felt like I took my time and more care to make sure it's correct... I think from now on I'm going to build for my alter ego.
