  1. Very nice indeed... Great job on the decals. Everything about it looks great!
  2. Thanks for the comments guys! Really appreciate it.
  3. Yea... My next build of this is going to be a Rock Crawler and trust me, the mud will be heavy.
  4. Thanks Ray! Was painted with Krylon (I think) Satin White rattle can.
  5. A little fun with Moss... The following pictures is with the Snorkel installed...
  6. Hearing about the Revell release of the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon, I overly excited. Being a fan of Jeep since I could walk, I had to have one. Now, I know I have to have a few. This being my first completed build of the year, I'm happy with this kit. Pros- Simple yet fun build Good clean parts with minimal problems Giving the ease of this kit, customizing (Raise Higher, Roll Bar Doors, Net Doors, Caged Chassis, ETC) would be easy. Cons Parts almost feel like a Snap-Tite (which is a good sign to me) Feels smaller than 1:25. More like a 1:27 or 1:28 to it. Working suspension has a tendency to stick. Lack of motor is a BIG negative to me. I built this Jeep to replicate my Fathers so I could give it to him for Fathers Day. I was torn between building the model to look like his current Jeep or how we wants to build his (different color, Roll-Cage, etc.) I added the Tow Hook and Tow Wire up front for the Winch. This build will be the first of many with this model. So... Without further ado, Here's the photos. Finished #1 Finished #2 Finished #3 Finished #4 Finished #5 Finished #6
  7. At $760... I doubt a payment will be made... But that free shipping is tempting.
  8. I was thinking maybe someone put an extra accidental 0 on the end of a bid but given the bidding history, it all seems intentional.
  9. I know the bid started out at $4.98. To jump up to $700 in 13 bids is unreal. Either they think these are 1:1 wheels (even though the seller has 3 other sets just like them for $4.98), or there is some underlying "Dealing" going on if you catch my drift.
  10. So I was looking on Ebay for some wheels for a couple of my builds and ran across this... ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!?!?!? Can anyone see why these wheels would cost so much? Seem's like some shady dealing to me... http://www.ebay.com/itm/30-Inch-Chrome-Wheel-Spinners-Donk-Tires-Rims-1-24-1-25-scale-model-car-kit-/121121341016?pt=Model_Kit_US&hash=item1c3364fe58
  11. Although this was quick (hourly ) build... I really like this because it's practical. This Focus is something I would expect to see at your local Auto Zone/ Automotive Shop hang out. Very nice job.
  12. WOW!!!!! That's one sick FRS!!! Looks like I could swim for days in that paint. And the motor, speechless. Beautiful Job!!
  13. Looks really good. Has a good stance to it. Only part I'm not to big on is the duck bill trunk lid but that's just me. Regardless, it looks great!
  14. I'm excited to see what your going to do and how far it's going to go. Trust me, you will never stop working on it though. My first car a 1994 Suzuki Swift GA Hatchback that my grandfather gave me. Me and my father ended up painting it Ocean Blue with 3 silver strips (2 outside thin stripes and 1 wide in the center) and was outlined with lime green pin stripping. I also put 17' Hart Rims on the car (given my young age they rubbed really bad with every turn and bump ). Even thought I look back at it now and realize that I could have used the money in a smarter way, I still appreciate what I was going for and will always remember my first car. That being said, I am jealous that you have a VW. I would love to have a 95 Jetta.
  15. What a beauty!! Killer stance and a serious aggressive look. You did an outstanding job with everything. Is it curbside or does it have the motor with it?
  16. I'll go the opposite and say that I love the Civic and Teggy. Don't get me wrong, they all look great... I'm just an Import Type of guy.
  17. I'm curious to know if their is any Virginia clubs? Primarily in the Southwest Region of Virginia (Roanoke, Montgomery County, etc.). If not I'm considering making my own. Given I know the demographics for modelers in my area is super low (to my knowledge) still worth a shot.
  18. I've been wanting this to come out in 1:24/ 1:25 plastic since the 1:1 debut. Looks really good!
  19. Accurate information is always a good thing and I appreciate corrections as well. However, as humans, we are over confident beings. Most cases, being corrected entices a natural reaction to become defensive. I choose to keep it quite.
  20. Simply amazing. You would never think that's a Fiero... Great Job!!
  21. I really like the 34' Ford Pickup 3 N' 1 from Lindberg. Be picking me up another soon for a shop truck.
  22. Some great cars listed. And Harry... Since it's been brought up SO MUCH, make it a pinned thread. Problem Solved...
