What's funny about the AMT Chevy and Pontiac engines is although they include stock style intake manifolds they donot include fans nor fan belts and generators so they can't be used in stock configuration while the Revelle engne kits have the parts for stock use including distributors to replace the magneto's.

List of Mini Exotics Kits
Crazy Ed replied to Crazy Ed's topic in Car Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
Thanks for your additions John, they've been placed on the list. I'm aware of R&D's status. I bought several of their Kits and White Metal accessories just prior to their demise. I'll be watching Missing Links Pages for the '70 Javelin. It's the sole car I need to have a kit for each of the cars Mark Donohue drove in the origional TransAm. -

I know there were some NASCAR bodies done by Mini Exotics that I haven't listed because I don't know what they were of! Also I'm badly lacking in Kit #'s so please chime in if you know'em, and as in the UMi list, if I missed Kits again jump in and I'll add'em in.

Corvette G.S. I have 5 of the UMi Kits and the quality is from HUH?? to fairly nice. Your "buddy" sounds like someone I'd like to know!

I had some time on my hands, so with the CD from Curt Raitz of the Motor Racing Replica News / Motor Racing Models series I looked at the Kits that were made by UMi and found an even dozen. Thanks for the reply George. PM sent -
Jon, well done. The texture on the Dash looks about perfect for 1:1 krinkle finish that was popular back in the era. Well done.

Checkin' ebay showed at least the Hawk Kits had decals in'em: http://www.ebay.com/itm/HAWK-WEIRD-OHS-LEAKY-BOAT-LOUIE-BOXED-1963-VINTAGE-MODEL-KIT-/380368201650?pt=Model_Kit_US&hash=item588fb627b2 -
Wow Bob, What an insane combo. A 427 Nash Metro. Ya know the candle on the birthday cupcake'd be the Gas Filler Cap from a '50's, 60's roadracer on the "trunk" .

Studebaker Community Build...with a Meet & Greet in South Bend, IN?
Crazy Ed replied to Casey's topic in Community Builds
Hey Casey, Any progress on the Turbine Itnava ? -
Jon, the combination of your prior description of the Aux. Venturi material and the new Pics have answered my question. Thank You. A side note for any interested in building one of these. There are 2 different Monogram 904 kit's out there. One has Skill 3 on it kit # 2954 which is the one Jon is building and the other is Curbside. So remember no Level 3, no Engine.
-
Well I'll be! Any chance of a closeup shot of them on a scale with the Strap holders?
-
Jon, what a wonderful build of what at best is a poor kit for fit. Wondering what size tubing you used for the Aux. Venturi (the small rod inside the intake horn)? I'm goning to be following this build to the end.

Back when the Manx's first came out a lot of Renault Dauphine's were converted to Dune Buggy service. Water Cooled and at the time VERY CHEAP.
