  1. Hi There Derrick Wonderin'. If you're planning on a Modern version wouldn't you want to put EFI on the Engine instead of Mech Fuel Inj. ?
  2. I'm not Derrick, but these might do. First the bottom of the Box which often gets missed On to the Contents And a sample of what you'll get in the Instructions
  3. I'm guessing the BMF blistering has something to do with out gassing........ Well once I get around to my 512M I'm headed to the Watkins Glen version. Heck it's a Coupe that ran in the CanAm. Although there were more than many think, it's one of those that folks would ID.
  4. So it's going to be the Sebring version. Coming along Very Well Mark. Hey, I don't know if you ever got to read the Motor Racing Models issue that did the 512M build but the builder had a problem with the BMF "blistering" on the Body after a couple of days.
  5. Well Done Bob!
  6. That just has too be THE Best application of that Kit EVER! I'll bet once Oscar sees it he'll both laugh out load and give it 2 thumbs up. Well Done.
  7. Hey Mark, any chance of you givin' a "step by step" on that big ol' Stainless Origami interior?
  8. The Kirk White/Penske/Sunoco 512M. One of the Cars David Hobbs (codriver) really didn't enjoy driving - Mark Donohue liked driving with a Locked Rearend instead of a Differential and Hobbs didn't. Hey Mark, given your skills you ought to build it as it finished the 24 hours at Daytona!
  9. Now, THAT'S Funny!!
  10. I don't know Bill. But Revell did release several versions of the complete kit
  11. Well Rob, given you've opened the options from Pickup. A '54 Chevy Panel Truck would fill the bill as what in the mid '60's'd be a Dream Vehicle! Inline 6 that would deliver 20+mpg, run forever and as long as there was Water in the Radiator it wouldn't overheat. Yep Gas was cheap back then (heck several times I filled up a 5 gallon "Jerry Can" for under a buck & got a free galss in the deal) , but you still had to pay for it! And the Panel had 3 additional advantges. 1 A secure place for the Board if not in use, 2 A changing room, 3 Somewhere to sleep you could afford.
  12. "reworked it and scratch-built a new engine cover/scoop to replicate a rare Chaparral 2G-L Codalunga Prototype"........ Hummmmm, I'd say Insanely Rare, Chaparral Long Tail. Neat build there Mark.
  13. Randy sez "Thanks for Looking" ................. Heck Randy, Thanks for not charging Admission Amazing!
  14. Wow Chris, That's REALLY Purdy! Courious - What color did you use for the "Rocker" portion? It looks as close to the real as I've seen.
  15. Make me think of a 500 that is suffering from a really bad reaction to Bee Stings..........
  16. That's the Unit ensignia for Phil Harkins aka "Bridgebuster" Dad's unit from WWII
  17. Thanks Curt. When I saw the ....your post was quoted by, I went OH Yea I remember that - Now . The Link is Bookmarked. Thanks Curt.
  18. Very Well Done Kurt. OK How'd you do the Screen over the Intakes? Tony is one of the Hired Guns (Like David Hobbs) from back in the Hayday of Road Racing that is still with us. Had the origonal TransAm had an overall winner rather than Class only, he would have been the '66 Champ! Again, Well Done.
  19. You might try - http://www.modelcarsmag.com/auction/ Hey it's Free
  20. From what I recall 'bout R&D Unique (the guy that did the Blue Boxed Mini Exotics and last runs of Curbside Dioramics <sp?> along with one or two other lines) is he had some problems and planned on returning to production once things were cleared up. Well it's been a few years now.
  21. Well Done Ray. The Paint and your oob treatment combine for a very nice Build.
  22. R&D offered the Chassis in several versions up to one with independent front and rear suspensions with your choice of drum or disc brakes.
  23. Finally 2 from Fisher and a 917/10 from Formula Canada
