Hair balls are the bane of those who lick their own fur.

Earth is a planet that's home to almost 8 billion individual members of a species of barely sentient, self-important (and largely not self-aware) primate.

I need a recommendation.

If you decide to test the waters on Etsy, let us know in a non-selling kind of way. -
Mmmmmmm...pecan tarts.

What...you're supposed to actually read threads? Dude...this is the internet in 2023. -
Today is a good time to be as well-informed as possible, seek the truth (and don't believe everything you're told), but not to let the results of obviously incompetent idiots running things get you down.

I'm in the market for some new airbrushes. Sure would like to see some examples of the work these produce for you...maybe start a thread somewhere else?

Humor has to walk on eggs these days, as most anything laugh-worthy can be construed as some kind of hateful "...ist" remark, only funny to mean folks with "a particular point of view".

Not yet, but I run pretty serious security measures.

Yup, 20 years is a pretty good run for just about anything that's in constant use. And just a thought...another possible factor contributing to the demise of the company just might be the increasing difficulty of hiring anyone with physical skills to do anything. I personally know heavily-skill-dependent business owners who are winding down, preparing to walk away, because it's becoming almost impossible to continue with today's labor pool. Every time I mention this fact, I'm shouted down by the peanut gallery...but interestingly never by anyone who depends on employees with hard physical skills to stay in business. Pointing a phone app at a broken machine won't fix it.

Info needed Ford GT40 chassis 1046
Ace-Garageguy replied to Pierre Rivard's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
And your last photo above is of Bruce McLaren (oops) Chris Amon immediately after winning the race, clearly on Goodyear rubber. Gold wheels, by the way...and you can't trust the color balance to be accurate on decades-old photos that have been endlessly reproduced. -

Have you seen this? The videos partially document the teardown of the real car prior to its last restoration to race condition http://gt40.rkmotorscharlotte.com/restoration/ -

Traits defining personality, the "big five" of openness, conscientiousness, extroversion, agreeableness, and neuroticism, are now believed to be at least partially heritable.

Day of the Triffids is good for a timeout for mindless sci-fi entertainment...and it's British.

Top builders, or top producers in every endeavor, usually spend more time doing what they do than online posting about it.

What Putty or Fillers to Use
Ace-Garageguy replied to Chevy II's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
You might have a look at the thread below. Some of us here actually have pretty extensive experience with every catalyzed filler on the market, and there are very cost effective alternatives to Evercoat that are 100% as good. -
Involved, well-reasoned explanations of reality are often flagged TLDR.

Finally bit the bullet and acquired a 1/16 Revell VW split-window Bug. Already have both of the 1/16 Revell Porsche kits, just need to snag a Microbus and some Fuchs wheels now. OK price, but not considering the body shell is badly warped...which I can fix, of course. Looks like I'll be buying some 3D printed 911 and 4-cam 356 bits as well.

Conclusively proven isn't, unfortunately for a certain class of rebleater, the same as consensus.
