  1. Now a quick mock up to evaluate the "stance". The Gold '29 is the Highboy version I built for the same show last year. Still needs some tweaking...
  2. I LOVE that grill shell - such a good idea. Keep up the good work.
  3. An on again-off again project of mine > AMT '55 Chevrolet Step Side. Building this as a mild street custom. Paint is Testots Fiery Orange with Testors White Pearl Ghost Flames, covered by Dukplicolor clear. The lettering on the tailgate is my experiment using real silver leaf. More to come....
  4. I like the direction of the build so far!
  5. Like most of us, I'm using the instructions as a reference only. I've already modified the rad to fit the chassis to my liking and started the frame .
  6. Thanks JC, but I think the problem stems from me trying to copy the pics over using an iPad. Now that I have access to a PC again, lets get back to the build! Started this build a couple of weeks ago - slow progress with kids and a career. The intent is to have this built to completion for an upcoming show in March. Going to try my hand at fabricating a "Suicide" front mount suspension on the Revell '29 Roadster, using the channeled components. The show rules prohibit aftermarket items, so I'm going to challenge myself to modify the kit stock items and some light scratch building using household materials. Lets have some fun!
  7. Hmmm, seem to be having some technical difficulties. I’ll try again tomorrow....
  8. It’s been a while since I posted a build. Thought I would share some pictures of my latest project. https://public.fotki.com/Intmd8r01/my-first-album/1517021086875.html#media
  9. Looks like a period correct racer to me. Like to see/hear more about this one.
  10. I REALLY like this. The weathered bumpers are perfect - just the right amount of rust, not overdone!
  11. One of my all time favourites. top notch work-you should be proud of this one
  12. I REALLY like this one. That's how mine would look - if I owned the 1:1 lol
  13. The CRX looks great-I like it. reminds me of the early ‘90’s import drag craze. The only criticism I have is the front wheels. Honda’s generally have a positive wheel offset due to being a FWD layout. A negative offset wheel on the 1:1 would push the wheels out of the fenders. Also, fitting a drag wheel this width and diameter would require the wheel wells to be cut/modified. Oh, and the Honda EF platform was never available in a 5-lug bolt pattern. again, I mean this to be constructive feedback, not negative criticism. keep up the good work!

  15. Always thought the stance of the original "street demons" kits looked a little awkward. Love the concept and the execution so far. Keep up the good work!
