  1. Nice looking truck. Good job on the paint. Used to be a real one just like in the late 80's that hauled lumber locally. That eagle paint job in real life was bright!
  2. I had a ruptured disk operated on in Feb. '11. I had 2 open heart surgeries before that (1st I had 2 weeks to think about, 2nd one I had no decision on!) and neither scared me as much as thinking about someone cutting on my back, but it all went well and I'm back to doing everything I did before. No pain, no problems. Keep a positive attitude about it and we will all keep you in our prayers. Good luck!!!
  3. Welcome Ben! Tough to figure out which build I like best, they're all good.
  4. amazon is listing a 359 at 17.07, picture is of the snap kit! Still within range, I but them at Atwoods here in town for 16.99.
  5. Chassis is stretch 41, cab is a 41 pickup, wheels are from a new ray 1/32 scale dodge pickup farm set. They measure the same size as 1/25 scale, modified to fit the 41 axles. Stacks will be polished before final fitting and bed still has some work to be done. oh, mirrors are f250 ford.
  6. Been down with the flu, (bad stuff this year!) Maybe start back on this next week. Power will be a 440 since the wheels are new model dodge. Need to polish the pipes, not sure what to do, keep em or lose em?
  7. Not really the same, I know where mine went. I left my shop door open last week, lost a sealed Mon. Ford f250 to my 4 month old Boxer. Still haven't found all the pieces!!
  8. Good looking model!!! They were called cherrypickers becuase of how tall they were. Wheels of Time mag, Nov-Dec 2005 had a couple of good articles on them. There were 484 built in the '50's & only about 6 still exsist! Your model is a cool piece of history!
  9. Here's a couple on the bench, (been there several months). My models are in a shop behind my house, been cold and miserable weather and battling the flu, I haven't worked on anything for a while!
  10. Lonestar coming along nicely. I said I wasn't going to do it, but I bought 2. Not sure what to do with them now!
  11. Nice looking truck. I like the fenders, how did you get the rolled edge on them!
  12. Happy New Year, everbody! I can safely say now, I made it to another one! Cold, rainy, nasty day in lower Arkansas, don't feel like doing anything today.
  13. Thanks for the pics, Chris. It's so ugly, it would make it worth building a model of !!
  14. Good looking rig. My wife thinks I"m crazy because I keep a digital camera in my truck. Never know when you'll need it! You can find always find subjects in a Walmart parking lot.
  15. I've got a small grey rechargeable from dremel. I use it more than my electric one.
  16. Yea, makes me wish I had a time machine! I see alot I grew up with and would like to have again.
  17. They all look good, chad. I like the yellow skylark, there used to be a 1:1 just like it in Little Rock.
  18. Looks even better with the trailer behind it!
  19. What is the saying, "You can't fix stupid!. Sand the paint off and set it out in the rain. I think I'll start a new business!!! And, what makes a rat rod worth $25,000 when a person decides to sell it?
  20. Greaat job, decals came out real well!
