  1. Just about any kit will work, look at legacysleepers.com, click on showcase, 9 pages of big sleepers on different trucks. Good references.
  2. This one has been in the closet for a couple of months about 98% finished. Got it back out over the weekend. Snap kit KW with sleeper removed, aluminum bumper and visor. Misc. parts from other kits.
  3. Beautiful car! Makes me want to rethink my hemi dart build.
  4. Cool little bug.Great job. I had a '53 in high school, had the funny turn signals that popped out of the door post, 36 hp (my riding lawn mower has almost as much now). I could put $2 worth of gas in it and drive for a month!
  5. I can think of about 20 i wish I had kept, but the main one was a 1970 chevelle SS454 (360hp LS5), graduation present, cortez silver, black stripes, black top. Sold it in 1975 for 1500.00! New owner had it 2 months and tried to take down a light pole. End of story! Always wanted another one, but B-J & health put an end to that. Gotta go, can't hold back the tears....
  6. Good looking truck, just enough detail to hide any flaws. Without a little modifying they are what they are, snap kits.
  7. I have no problem with being corrected, my wife is ALWAYS telling me that I'm wrong!!!
  8. Thanks JT, but the graphics are gone, trailer is now yellow, working on new graphics. Just got bored and started all over. This one is a stacker and measures out 44'. New pics later.
  9. Only one and it's in the middle of a repaint at the moment, never built the funny car to go with it and never was real satisfied with the striping. Got a 53' hauler going on too. More on both later!
  10. Good looking rig. Great job on the trailer!
  11. Well the topics kinda look the same for all of us that can't see!!!
  12. I think you would have to post it in "All the Rest"!!!
  13. Nice work! I would probably give up after trying to place the first rivet!
  14. Great job, I like the weathering.
  15. I bet it would be a monster to back into a dock with a loaded trailer. Surely it can't turn very well.
  16. Now, that's something to be proud of !!!
  17. Thanks for the comments! Got to get back to work on some of these half builts that I've got in the closet.
  18. Got this one on the things to finish list. 18 ft. utility, wide enough to haul a vehicle.
  19. Looks like someone stuffed a rag in the exhaust pipe while it was running!
  20. NEVER try to catch a hobby knife that rolls off the table, I speak from experience!
  21. Typical South Arkansas weather, 65 last nite, 83 today, now they are calling for 40 on thursday nite! I am soooo tired of rain and cold (for us) weather. My models are in a shop behind my house and the way the weather has been, just not wanting to do anything.
