  1. http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_odkw=lindberg+1964+dodge&LH_Sold=1&_osacat=0&_from=R40&LH_Complete=1&_trksid=p2045573.m570.l1313&_nkw=lindberg+ramchargers+1964+dodge&_sacat=0
  2. At last count, and between all the different variations of both the dodge and plymouth. Between builts an unbuilts I have 20 or 21 of them. It's hands down the most popular kit on my shelf. and I don't think I have over $10 in any one kit (bought them all back when they 1st hit the stores ) Johnnys toys around here was well known to sell WAY under retail. I've got numerous kits I bought in the $4.99 - $5.99 range. I've seen numerous times on Ebay they sell under $10 , even with $10 shipping your in the same range as most currently avail kits. Ya just gotta be patient.
  3. Ramchargers car is hemi equipped, and the unique Hemi only hood scoop. bucket seats and I think it has both grilles ( not 100% sure on the grille ) plated 5 spoke ft wheels with unplated steel wheels for the rear I don't have a ramchargers kit handy to ck the grilles CMG is bench seat , max wedge engine and hood scoop , stock style 4 head light grille, plated 5 spoke ft wheels and unplated steel wheels for the rear Mavericks car is bucket seats, hemi engine but max wedge style hood scoop , Hemi car only 2 head light grille, plated steel wheels ft and rear as mentioned the slant six is in the stock issue only ( blue car on the box lid ) but the slant six is also avail in the 64 plymouth kit (black car on the box lid ) This is probably my favorite kit. I have 4 Dodges done, then another 64 dodge and a 64 Plymouth in process I wish these tools would get modified to do a 64 Dodge 2 door hardtop and a 64 Plymouth 2 door sedan
  4. Thanks all. It's much appreciated. I already did the blackwash on the grille, painted the sunvisors red and went over some of the chrome emblems with a yellow paint pen to give it the gold anodized look they should have . Also ordered a replacement steering wheel and tail lights from Modelhaus . I would like to seat the wheels into the tires farther, but the tires are hard as a rock and I am afraid they'll split if I push it. When I bought this years ago off Ebay , I was pleasantly suprised the body had never been painted and was in remarkably good shape, thus the reason to leave it unpainted . The body was just cleaned up, a slight rub with a polishing cloth and waxed. It's not perfect by any means . But nothing that demanded it be painted to hide any defects. Plus I like a white exterior with red interiors. I have always thought the 57 thru 59 Imperials were Chryslers crown jewels .And with me being a diehard Mopar fan this one was just a given for my shelf Thanks again.
  5. Ditto, I also recently got a 1965 Plymouth AFX hardtop. If you didn't know better it could almost pass for a stryene kit . My build with it is coming to the ft of the line , and fast.
  6. Unless you have it trademarked ( even then it may not matter) the moment something gets released to the general public you open it up to be copied by anyone / any time. Is it right ? no, but it's a fact.
  7. Depends on what I'm after at any particular point in time. AND what kind of time I have avail. There is just one model swap meet near me and it's only once a year, so it has extreme limitations. . And I will not drive 2 hours just to hit a swap meet, There is nothing I NEED that bad. I'll wait and find it via ebay 1st. ,,,like when I can shop in my underwear. I do hit maybe a half dozen 1/1 swap meets a year. And I do look around for models / promos. to either keep or flip. I've been on a antique car craze lately and Ebay offers the best chances to get what I may want at any particular point in time , problem is once I see something that catches my fancy is what usually gets that interest ball rolling in my head. I see it then my mind says 'OHHH , I need that'
  8. I think this is an old SMP kit, but I am not 100% sure . I bought it as a builder maybe 10 years ago or so. And about 5 or 6 years back I had a wild idea one weekend to build a model. AKA a weekend project just for giggles. Main goal was - keep it easy and quick. Body had never been painted and was real nice as is. So I left it molded in white. with just a light polish and BMF work. Interior was rattle can testors flat red. chassis is just simple gloss black. These are curbsides kits, thus no engine or opening hood. I am looking for a steering wheel and tail lights ( not sure of the recent 1959 kits is same / or similar.) Before it goes back in the case I may go over the grille and tail end this weekend with some detailer to help bring it out some. I've always liked the 50's fin cars of all makes and may have to get one of the recent 59's to go along with it . Keep in mind this was a quick weekend project. so detail is not outstanding . But it looks pretty good on the shelf. Enjoy
  9. I may just have to pick one of these up this time around. For another one of those ' someday projects ' like I really need another one.
  10. I'll wager a bet the Turbine car, Rambler wagon, 71 cuda 70 cutlass make an re-appearence in the next 1-2 years I would not be surprised if the 69 roadrunner kit tooling is out there , any others I was told years ago , tooling was gone
  11. Don't know yet. It should be here the 1st of the week . The Hispana Suiza kit arrived a few weeks ago. It looks real cool, and huge compared to my usual 1/25 th scale subjects. I have a couple different Chrys kits and another early 30's cadillac as well. These will be for much later on
  12. Sums it up for me as well. I am in awe everytime I ck in on this thread
  13. Looks pretty good . It turned out REAL nice . I've built several of the Lindberg 1964 Dodges, I have yet to do one of the 64 Plymouths, ( need to change that soon ) my one and only suggestion is, remove the nubs on top of the grille, they are not there on the 1/1 .
  14. Most recent arrivals or enroute purchases Heller HISPANO-SUIZA K6 1933 Cadillac Town Cabriolet Testors/Italeri
  15. If my wife and daughters would not use this PC ,,,, this would be MY new one
  16. There are some amazing builders here with some HUGE talent. This one, John and his Freekshow, Mooneyzs and his Army Vega AA/FC . I feel so in adaquete. But I'll keep looking and building all the same. My hats off to you all.
  17. You would never know it started life as sheets of stryene . Pretty cool,,, is an understatement
  18. LOL , I didn't have a single picture of a 1973-74 car,,,,,,,, till now . I loose interest after 1972 so I guess I've never snagged any pictures of the later car.
  19. I'd be good with any or all the above, especially a 1965 Plymouth,,
  20. Just as long as the Lindberg 1964 Dodge/Plymouth kits don't vanish I'm good. I 'wish' they would update/modify/change the tooling to make a 1964 Dodge 2 door hardtop and a 1964 Plymouth 2 door sedan though
  21. Agreed, I just went thru every picture of the Vanke Duster I have and there are no wheelie bars visisble in any picture I have As far as making your own I tend to think they would not be that hard to make from scratch
  22. Good for you. Sounds like we have the same goals. Wife and I play on a winter volleyball league thru church, and I finally realized I need to loose some weight and get in shape to compete against some of these younguns. Already lost 7-8 lbs and I want to lose another 15. About 2 years ago I was up to 235 . Just trying to watch what I ate I lost about 10 lbs. But I want to get back down to approx 200 . But my main goal is lose the gutt and get in better shape overall. We tried the gym thing for a while and both of us hated it. Now we work in the living room on our own. 30 minutes a day 5 days a week. ( my insperation is she looks real good in her workout pants )
  23. I have a feeling your thinking about he MPC kits, 1971-73 body style ? I know the Parnelli Jones kit is the later body . Polar Lights is a 1969-70 Body style kit
  24. When I bought it, I don't remember but probably in the past 10 years. I'll have to ck the box
  25. I'm gonna have to ck in on this one. I've always thought the 58 Cadillac looked SO much better than the 59. I was just unsure of the quality of the Imex kit. I may have to pick one of these up for later on
