Looks pretty good . It turned out REAL nice .
I've built several of the Lindberg 1964 Dodges, I have yet to do one of the 64 Plymouths, ( need to change that soon )
my one and only suggestion is, remove the nubs on top of the grille, they are not there on the 1/1 .
There are some amazing builders here with some HUGE talent.
This one, John and his Freekshow, Mooneyzs and his Army Vega AA/FC . I feel so in adaquete. But I'll keep looking and building all the same.
My hats off to you all.
LOL , I didn't have a single picture of a 1973-74 car,,,,,,,, till now .
I loose interest after 1972 so I guess I've never snagged any pictures of the later car.
Just as long as the Lindberg 1964 Dodge/Plymouth kits don't vanish I'm good.
I 'wish' they would update/modify/change the tooling to make a 1964 Dodge 2 door hardtop and a 1964 Plymouth 2 door sedan though
Agreed,
I just went thru every picture of the Vanke Duster I have and there are no wheelie bars visisble in any picture I have
As far as making your own I tend to think they would not be that hard to make from scratch
Good for you. Sounds like we have the same goals.
Wife and I play on a winter volleyball league thru church, and I finally realized I need to loose some weight and get in shape to compete against some of these younguns.
Already lost 7-8 lbs and I want to lose another 15. About 2 years ago I was up to 235 . Just trying to watch what I ate I lost about 10 lbs. But I want to get back down to approx 200 . But my main goal is lose the gutt and get in better shape overall.
We tried the gym thing for a while and both of us hated it. Now we work in the living room on our own. 30 minutes a day 5 days a week. ( my insperation is she looks real good in her workout pants )
I have a feeling your thinking about he MPC kits, 1971-73 body style ? I know the Parnelli Jones kit is the later body .
Polar Lights is a 1969-70 Body style kit
I'm gonna have to ck in on this one. I've always thought the 58 Cadillac looked SO much better than the 59.
I was just unsure of the quality of the Imex kit. I may have to pick one of these up for later on
What is this thing called a book you refer to ,?
I have a 4 drawer file cabinet filled with vintage magazines and 90% of the time when I need something . Google
Interesting setup. Best I can tell is they did away the upper spring, but kept the A arm / upper shock mounted position . Using the leaf spring as a torsion bar mounted in a fashion similar to a stock mustang strut rod arrangment.
Cool, this shouldn't be hard to replicate
Probably has more to do with licensing than anything. Then again it may well be a test to see what sells best a no name car such as this compared to say the BlueMax branded kit
Allen,
You happen to have a comparison pic.? I'm trying to picture this issue and ck the one kit I have here.
Did or does or will Lindberg replace bodies like on kits with issues ?
Thanks , the car I have in process is the Gas Ronda long nose / wheelbase car.
I've looked at the pictures I have of the car and it has what appears to be something resembling close to stock as far as the upper shock mount,,,,, just moved forward. But I can't tell anything beyond that
Can anyone confirm the ft suspension used in the 1966 Long nose AFX mustangs .
I've looked at pictures all morning and the best I can come up with is they used a stock lower control arm / steering setup. On what 'appears to be' a tube frame design .
BUT, is it the standard mustang ' short upper / long lower' control arm set up with the strut rod design.
I have a long sitting project thats calling out to me to finally get finished, and soon.
Lookin good.
I have one these same resin kits to do, I just can't make up my mind to do a Sox and Martin car or the Golden Commandos car
