  1. Finish those seats then make a resin copy of the complete interior . I'll take 2 right now please
  2. Steve, the left side of the dash pad should match the right side . its way to thin from this angle
  3. None I know of. I just took an extra kits back seat and made my own
  4. Ive never seen another one built. and only 1 or 2 unbuilt. This is molded in clear red plastic Its the molded in clear versions that can be found occasionally, and even it the Charger is the easier of the 2 to find
  5. Someone told me several years back the tooling for the MPC 71 Roadrunner was damaged and/or no longer viable for use
  6. 1969 dash is thicker all the way across and less pronounced point in the center
  7. 1968 dash is thinner and come to more of a point in the center the actual plastic dash frame in the kit has the correct shape , just not the thickness
  8. I built my clear red AA/FC Cuda kit
  9. I just hope i can build maybe 1 ...or 2 Im having fun with my 1/1 toy to worry much avout model cars I plan to retire this fall...so maybe it will change
  10. Real 300 ? As far as I know. They were only avail in 3 colors, Black, red and white
  11. I REALLY wish you could find someone to duplicate these in resin. I'll take 2 sets NOW
  12. I would just like to be able to delete pictures Ive uploaded here. Some are in threads years old. Most others are in trade threads . Some Ive inadvertently uploaded multiple times. either way its makes it horrible to wade thru to find the one I want. So much I'll avoid uploading pictures here at all costs anymore
  13. And once posted here It cant be deleted by the one who posted it either .
  14. Search ebay. Someone is 3d printing a lot of the old hood and fender ornaments
  15. Them boys got much bigger knads than I ever dreamed of having. But I love to watch it
  16. Same here. I have 3 and in reality. Could easily use 2 more.
  17. I don't think I've bought a model kit in over a year, maybe closer to 2 years now. And in all honesty. I dont have much desire to buy either. Ive actually sold close to or even over 100 kits , both builders and unbuilts. And this trend will most likely continue. My newest garage toy will take my free time for a while Retirement is just under a year away. And I hope to get back into building some models afterwards . But I honestly cant say that I have the drive for them like I did in years passed
  18. Two very nice examples of one of the very best Ford ever produced. Beautiful cars they were / are
  19. Subject matter..period Imo. Anything else is secondary. Cost is a factor. But if the subject matter interests me. I will pay yp to own it.
  20. Depends entirely on just how hungry you are and if anything else is avail. There are Micky D's in nearly every street corner. But if they were days apart and you were hungry...that $50 dollar cheesburger would taste pretty good. My point is. Sealed 1970 Challenger kits are NOT on every street corner. And someone...somewhere wants one. Seller just has to find him. Like I said....if one doesnt like the price...why bitch about it. Simply move on and enjoy what you do find. And btw...that some one who will pay that.....is NOT me. I've had my days where i had shelves stacked with big money unbuilt kits. I sold them all and moved on to something else that i enjoyed. And for what its worth. I recently sold some builtups ...had 1 ea. (Not here btw ) MPC 1970 and 71 challengers. 1970 and 71 Cudas . All four sold in minutes for almost $375. By some standards they were only worth maybe $20 -30 ea. The guy didn't have them . I did. ...he wanted them and could afford them. He now owns them.
  21. Why.? Just because someone can and is willing to pay up to get something THEY want with THERE money. They have to be labled as crazy or insane etc.etc . I dont get it. If you don't like the price. No one is holding a gun to your head to buy. Move on and enjoy life as you see fit.
  22. EXACTLY, If one doesnt like the price, its simple really. Move on and enjoy life in the way you chose . Dont bash those who can / will pay the price to get what they want Like I said earlier. There has been times that kit would sell for that. But IMO those days are behind us
  23. Model haus used to make a resin conversion. I would have to ck. But i might have one
